Full Moon in Leo

Hello from French Polynesia where I am presently working and playing! February 5 is the Full Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun is in Aquarius and the Moon is in Leo. Leo is about shining bright & being recognized, leadership, a natural regal disposition, empowering others through who they are and what they create. They need time in their lives to do the things they enjoy, they like to go big and like to be recognized for the good things they do. The shadow side of Leo can be: look at me, look at me, would rather lead than be told what to do and can be sensitive if they are ignored or don’t receive enough attention or love. The Leo needs to remember how good it feels when they create something that brings others joy and to allow others to receive recognition when they to create something noteworthy. Opposing to Leo is Aquarius this Full Moon. Aquarius wants us to go deeper to look at the responsibility of our actions and beliefs for the good of all without the need for recognition. So this Full Moon we find ourselves determining the balance between seriousness and joy, giving and receiving and looking at how we block our creative and authentic selves because of the lack of trust from past wounds that create drama or self-absorbed, self gain.

The influences this full moon have the potential for emotional reactivity, restlessness, asking you to have the courage to leave behind what no longer is for the good of our well being or the good of all. And to have courage to venture into something new if necessary. Things can be unpredictable and change fast with Uranus the great awakener involved. There is also great possibility for drama in the relationship realm. It is a good time to observe rather than engage when you disagree with something. Better to go inside yourself and try to understand what triggers the conflict within and process, learn and understand. Then change your belief or reactions moving forward for a better outcome. On a more positive note, this is also a time of fruition for the projects we have been working on the past year and a half.

Let’s see what the cards say about how we can release the blocks that keep us from being a balanced leader and bringing joy to others? I am using the “Wisdom of the Oracle” deck by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew is: “Co-Create.” The essential meaning of this card is: creativity, art, inspiration, fruition and manifestation. The card goes on to say: “You may not consider yourself to be a creative person, but in fact you are creating your reality every moment of every day via your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, intentions and actions. Yet you must consider you do so in partnership with spirit.” I say that once we learn to hear and feel our inspirations given to us by spirit, we are lead in a pure and authentic way to our truth, our purpose. When we set intentions each New Moon, what follows are these type of inspirations that lead us to aspire toward our dreams. If we are not of the vibrational level to receive what we want, we are lead into experiences that stimulate the opportunity for the changes within necessary to free us to be who we want to be. To benefit from the energy of the Full Moon that encourages us to release while being stimulated in a negative way. The least painful way is to hear, trust and act on the wise and inspired prompts from spirit as we journey through the choices presented and build trust to be led by divine inspiration rather than fear and security of what we know. It always comes down to knowing how your truth feels within and acting on your own truth. If we take the fork in the road toward change we “think” is the right way, instead of the heartfelt, perceived truthful direction, we often battle with our ego or are presented with facing blocks, lessons, or incidents until we let go and trust our inner truth. I always like to go back to when I made a clear, truth felt decision and remember how clear I felt when I feel in doubt midway through a new experience, or when I feel I have made a mistake. Not every incident is a bad decision, but can be a required lesson to awaken us to a new reality of truth within. So let go of the drama, judgement or wrongness and release what no longer serves your ability to move forward. Realize that you can do better next time with what you have learned in the experience. If you never release the cause of the incident once you understand it, you never gain any momentum toward truth. You remain attached to that reality and it keeps repeating itself until you decide to cut the cord and free yourself to a new way of approaching things. Remember that every moment you are creating your reality moving forward and holding on to the past only limits that movement. You can choose to build steps upward to your dreams or stairs down to your dungeon.

Peace and Love, Susan
