The Power to Create………….

I have been working to grow my intuitive business for several years and have yet to fully put myself out there. I have other priorities at this time that limit my time commitment. I have also needed to grow as a person and to grow my skills. I have been taking classes and expanding & awakening my abilities. The one thing that I have done consistently in the interim, is visualize what I want for the collective world.

As you know, we are all made of energy physically and we also produce mental & emotional energy that helps shape our reality. The world mirrors our energy back to help us continue to grow to be who we want to be. To have the opportunities to experience what we want to experience. It also mirrors back where we are at the present time in our lives.

Fate is an interesting word as it not only reflects what we believe to be true, but it also reflects what others believe. We are caught up in trying to find our place in the collective reality, often times in realities we don’t agree with. Sometimes there are realities that leave us feeling like a victim. Hopeless, pessimistic and/or afraid to name a few. Those are the moments when I turn to either prayer or meditation. I focus on what shift I want to see in the world. While I can’t physically force change in everyone or everything, I can send energy out to penetrate the reality and contribute to change. When you come from your heart and send pure love, it butts up against the dark and creates energy of evolvement. It inspires a leader to start taking action. It creates opportunities for change. One prayer &/or one meditation at a time. There is nothing more pleasing to me, than to be praying/meditating on a certain issue and to witness it occurring in real life. One of those very issues I have been working on is for polarization in our society to find peaceful middle ground to create positive change. I saw an interview this morning of a powerful Liberal public figure agreeing to be interviewed by a powerful Republican public figure. It took the Liberal several years to accept this invitation for the interview. But at the end of the day, she realized that although they may not agree on everything, there are core issues they do agree on & by discussing them it makes it possible to create change together to improve America.. This is true, no matter where you live. I believe my years of putting this energy forth played a part in creating this event. As Margaret Mead said: “Never underestimate the ability of a small group of dedicated people to change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has”

So next time you feel afraid, alone, defeated, etc. Remember that change begins with every thought and feeling your put forth to the world. Energy affects everyone. What you pay forward to the world will find it’s way to a person who wants what you want & can empower them to put forth the same supportive, positive energy the way they are capable of doing. Plant seeds in your garden called life. Change starts with belief. No matter how powerless you feel, you can start the momentum in your direction by believing in something you dream of. Lastly, remember that truth always wins when it comes from your heart! More people want good than evil in their lives. Choose love over hate!

Let’s draw a card and ask “what does everyone need to know to overcome a feeling of helplessness or anger?” The card I drew is from Collette Baron-Reid’s deck “Wisdom of the Oracle” and the card is “Co-Create!” I really should video myself drawing these cards some time so you can see how the right cards always presents itself, I don’t pick and choose what card I present!

The essential meaning of this card is: creativity, art, inspiration, fruition & manifestation. The message from the guide book says: You may not consider yourself a creative person, but in the fact you are creating your reality every moment of every day via your thoughts, feelings beliefs, intentions, and actions. (What did I say above?!) Yet you must consider that you do so in your partnership with Spirit, Consciousness, God or whatever name you call your Higher Power. You are a spark of this Intelligence that works through you, nudging you with inspired thought and intuitive guidance. You are a paintbrush that co-creates a beautiful, unique expression of your own individuality blended with the universal Spirit. The guidebook goes on, but I think you get the message!

So remember, you are never a hopeless victim in any situation. No matter how long this can take to produce change, it will swing things in the right direction and prevent doom. Believe! Express! & Know that Spirit/God is waiting to hear what you want to create and will send you more warriors to support your cause. Be open to see when they arrive & expand your empowerment!

Following Intuition

Recently I followed the crumbs of intuition on purchasing some rugs for my kitchen in a thorough way area of my kitchen to secure a runway for my dog, who likes to run through the house once he figures out we are going on a walk. While this is a small issue in my life, I wanted to illustrate the process I went through to find my rugs. My end result of this blog post is in hopes you will let go of your negative self-dialogue to problem solve and trust in spirit to find your way to create mini-miracles in your life to accomplish your goals.

This past Spring, I had spent months trying to find some rugs in stores and online I liked and came up empty every time. So I had pretty much given up, but always put out to the universe to show me how to find the rugs I would love every time I saw those ugly rugs instead of feeding into self-defeat. Several months later, I was out shopping and decide to stop by a large chain store to buy some smaller rugs and saw a rug in a larger size like some of the rugs I had at the top of the stairs in the kitchen. I wondered if I could find this rug in a large enough size & would be mostly satisfied with it. This got my wheels turning again. I didn’t find the sizes I was hoping for, but knew of another of this chain store that had a bigger selection and would check there when I had time.

On a Friday night going into a holiday wknd, I was feeling inspired again to go shopping. As the wknd. progressed, my inspiration continued and somehow morphed into shopping for rugs on Monday. By then I was even more determined to buy new rugs to replace the very worn ones in the kitchen, that day. So I set out only to come up empty handed again. But when I was at the last store, I had a strong feeling to go home and go back to this one rug web page and search for grey rugs, a color I had not searched before. So I went home and did that very thing. As I logged into this web page, it instantly popped up there were having a 20% off sale! Awesome as these rugs were expensive. I now felt more inspired and rewarded! Then I searched for the color grey, 8 pages of choices came up. On the 1st page, 3rd row down were my rugs! Wha-lah, finally, done! And I didn’t settle for something less than what I really wanted. Lesson accomplished!

To me, this experience illustrates the many layers of discovery we go through to find our answers in life while inlisting spirit and being guided by spirit. While this is a trivial issue, it shows when you are true to yourself, you find what you want at the right time. We often let our minds and emotions get in the way when things don’t pan out when we think we are ready. We often fall off the path & become impatient and make a poor choice, delve into confusion and lose our truth, become fearful, beat ourselves up or give up to name a few responses.

While my old rugs were eye sores to me every day & I couldn’t find what I truly wanted, that reminder kept me in the hope I’d find my rugs. Sometimes you have to let it go and turn it over to the creator, spirit guides and angels and wait until everything lines up for you to find what you want as you continue (create action) to maintain hope your answers will come. Listening to when you no longer feel motivated because you have exhausted your known resources to continue and take a break. Pray and meditate to be shown what it is you are seeking. And have faith the answer will come in divine time as happened to me with this example.

Let me draw an Oracle Card to see what spirit has to tell us. I am asking what everyone needs to know to stick to their truth to find their way through their present obstacle they are faced with. I drew a card from “Wisdom of the Oracle” by Collette Baron-Reid: “Here and Now” is the card. The essential meaning of the card is “Being fully present in the moment; living one day at a time.” This card talks about paying attention to the present and what is going on around you now. It reminds me of a friend who recently posted that he prayed to God to have an amazing, fun-filled retirement. Since then he has had ankle surgery & a hip replacement. My response to him was that when you ask for something you are not quite ready for, God does deliver, but often times it requires cleaning up the messes to get what you wished for. If you are asking for something you are not prepared to do, you will have to go through trivia/healing within yourself and in your world to accomplish what it is you are seeking. Your want may be bigger than you are able to handle. Or you may be asking for the wrong thing that is not in alignment with who you are and then have to be taught what the real truth of what you want is – cleaning up your motivation. When connect with how your heart feels when you seek something, you often know whether is feels like clear skies ahead or if there is a block of some sort. Or you may feel at a complete loss as to where to start. That is when you have to turn to prayer, talk to your angels and spirits guides to show you your next step. Meditate & pray every day on finding that path to your desired truth be shown to you in a kind, but undeniable manner. Your mind has to be quiet to hear the answers and your eyes must see honestly to see the answers that will be presented. Those choices can try you to see if you will follow your path or take the easy road. Wherever you are at with your roadblock is where you start prayer and seeking your angels to help you. Recognize the self denial, betrayal, lack of patience on the path to your true answer and don’t be stopped short of your goal, your truth, your desire, your fulfillment. Motivation and honesty are everything in finding your way. Again, most importantly, start your prayer with asking for help with whatever self-defeat you are feeling at this time. It is one hurdle at a time to reach the finish line. Once you realize that you truly can call on your angels or spirit to send you the support and answers you need to get past your block, rather than worry, stress, fret and give up, you will begin to accomplish more than you can ever imagine possible. It is getting off that cruel train of self-conditioning, that negative inner dialogue, those learned reactions that create halt. Once you just turn to spirit & your angels with trust and faith you realize you don’t need to think your way out of anything anymore. Instead you can trust your heart to keep you on your path to truth and follow the bread crumbs to your truth.

Co-Creating A Better World….

Each night before I go to bed I consistently do a few things. I catch up on news, personal emails and before I turn in, I draw an Oracle Card and ask what it is I need to know, I then pray/meditate, visualize and talk to Spirit. I am not sure that catching up on news before bed is the best thing, with the disturbing things going on in the world that often provoke fear and worry, but it is often my only time of the day to get it done. That is why I draw an Oracle card, to find resolve and peace before I go to sleep. I end by meditating and talk to spirit/pray for resolve.

Last night, after a day of learning some big wrongs in the world, I drew a card from the “Wisdom of the Oracle” deck by Collette Baron-Reid, “Co-Create” in protection (upside down). This card reminded me and talked about finding yourself in a slump to create, because you are trying to do it by yourself. The book states “Inspiration means the drawing in of Divine guidance. You must tap into Spirit, not simply yourself. Ask Spirit for inspiration. Two minds are greater than one, so co-create with your Divine partner. Reclaim your partnership with spirit. Inspiration will flow through you as soon as you get out of your own way.”

The card reminded me of the power of talking to spirit/prayer and meditation to counter my feelings from my day. I had listened to a seminar earlier in the day from Astrologer Deborah Silverman. One thing that caught my attention was hearing her talk about how being on earth is not normal for our souls. We are spirit first, living in a human body. We sometimes forget in all our humanness, we entered this body as a spirit, but as we developed our physical skills to survive on earth, we have forgotten who we really are. She emphasized the importance of connecting with spirit, our higher selves each day to inspire our daily living in the direction we want life to go. It is as important as eating & drinking water to survive. But most of us have forgotten we are spirit first which inspires and helps mold our lives. Although our existence is verified by our physical reality, I personally rely on my instincts to help motivate my actions and decision making. I see it as a cycle that feeds our existence, good and bad. I helps us to continue to explore, question and learn through experiences. Deborah Silverman was saying how important Prayer, connecting to spirit and mediating should be a part of our daily routine. I considered it a major component of existence. When we die, we shed this body and our spirit continues. While we are on this earth, it is easy to get distracted and grow away from the power spirit offers us in our daily lives. It feels to me like, some people are moving further and further away from their spiritual self and it seems to reflect in the world as chaos, imbalances, harmfulness and unhappiness. What I have learned over the past several year is, we can fall asleep, or we can wake up to our greatest strengths, ourselves, our spiritual selves!

Lastly, as I am provoked by some of the horrifying things going on in the world, I learn through alternative news sources. I am often times left feeling powerless and like a victim. But the truth is, I have a lot of powerful tools for change and that is through positive affirmations, visualization and rallying my spiritual partners and angels to come help. Some people may say, turn it over to God, having faith & using my spiritual tools are what that means to me. If only for a few minutes each day, you will be rewarded and inspired to do it more. This morning I did my usual daily visualization of a big red heart watching over the Earth. It pours white light over the earth nourishing all things in truth, balance, love and justice. I see white light beings locking hands surrounding the Earth. They join together as beacons, generating truth, balance, love and justice. I send extra white light to the evil people and activities in the world and ask for healing and positive change. I dream about what all these things I desire will look like. I ask the angels and spirits to convene on specific issues in the world to help heal and create what is best for humankind to each issue by adding truth, balance, love and justice. That is my spirit becoming active in my life.

If we can all remember that the power is within us for change and to turn our fear, victim, anger, frustration, etc. into what we would like instead though daily pray, conversation with spirit and meditation it can make a big difference. Part of our daily existence relies on us to take the time each day to send empowerment into the world through energy. I believe, how you think and feel empowers the energy of our world and formulates our reality each day. How have you spent the last 24 hrs mentally and emotionally? What have you ruminated about and what did you solve by doing so? Please take the time each day to pray/meditate, visualize, dream and talk to spirit. The angels and spirits are there and ready to assist you to co-create a better future. Send the energy we need to counter the victim, fear, anger, destruction and control at work in this world right now. Spend more time solving instead of cowering! Remember, our world is a reflection of ourselves and the only way to change it is to change the energy you put forth in the world. There is a reason one house will still be standing amongst the destruction of a housing development after a tornado! I have a friend who for years, prays daily and believes strongly in the power of God/Creator in her life. She is presently living at the bottom of a housing development where the land is shifting and moving all around her house. Her next door neighbors are not able to open/close doors, the ground is buckling in several places in the development, even at my friends house. But, every day she prays her house will be safe and they are unharmed. So far they have seen no destruction to their house, although the land behind, around and right up to the edge of the house in one spot is changing and a few houses in her development have been red tagged. Take your power and use it wisely my friends!

New Moon in Gemini

November 27, 2023 will be the Full Moon at 1:16 Pacific in the northern hemisphere. The Sagittarius Sun (sign of fun, travel, abundance, positivity, generosity, idealism) will shine it’s light on the Gemini Moon (social, the twins, intellectual, talkers) telling us to let go of perceptions of lower vibration and take the higher road.

I think to start, it is worth looking a bit deeper at perception. Perception to me is how we interpret our life experiences and how we proceed with our actions and what we put forth in the world as a result of it. How we see the world obviously affects our outcomes and the reality of our world. This Full Moon is a good time to pay attention to what influences our perception and how we act as a result of it. Perhaps take inventory within yourself how you are affected by every day life and make note of what does not serve you well. Does it trigger your history, victimhood or successes? Does it remind you of people you like or dislike? Does is cause you to live a life guided by limitedness? I believe, how things affect you are how you see it. How you see it is the reality you are creating for yourself. To understand what you need to let go of requires you make note of your reactions and understanding of life experiences, conversations and relationships. Then letting go of what drags each of us down. Exercise the positive expansiveness that is possible this Full Moon and working for us. Creating goodness, for which you can be grateful for, is reciprocal to exercising wisdom in your perceptions and the actions you put forth to the world.

The influences of this Full Moon can also give us mixed signals. We can feel socially connected, the easiness of life and a strong sense of direction in life. Then we have the energies of opposing cloudiness, confusion and lack of clarity. The Full Moon is a time of release. Trust your unconscious is at work for you and your future. But be aware it is up to you to either take the higher road or the lower road in life and that fork in the road is before you. We have the opportunity right now to drop some baggage we have been working on for the past couple years of the heart and mind. Healing the past and making different choices for better outcomes. I have been feeling the residue of stuff lurking I have worked to heal and am ready to wipe it off the slate moving forward. The nagging pain resides at times, but the only way past it is to change my mind. Our minds are what forge the future. Don’t let the past wounds convince you otherwise for the wisdom gained is just on the other side on the higher road. In recycling a statement I heard while writing this blog, my version is – “How you treat yourself and others is how your life goes.”

Let’s see what the cards say and ask: “How do we trust we will know the truth during this Full Moon?” I chose a card from the online deck of Collette Baron-Reid.com, “The Wisdom of the Oracle” and the card I drew was: “Exchanging Gifts.” The essential meaning of this card is: The Law of Giving and Receiving, currency, trade-offs, weighing the costs and determining the value. The book also says, you must engage in a dance of give and take, push and pull, doing and being, if you let fear guide your choices, you could deplete yourself or create an imbalance. This is not a time of just do, do, do. Use your currency wisely and be mindful of the values others bring to your life.

In closing, I have always tried to live my life with the thought of treating others as I hope to be treated. When I am conflicted in a situation, I like to pause and try to reproach it after clearing my head and opening my heart. I experience better outcomes once the emotional baggage has cleared and I am able to treat my conflicts with more balance and come from love. The higher road includes being wise in our confusion & conflicts during this Full Moon. A great time to create our best future and let the other stuff go.

New Moon in Scorpio

Monday, November 13 at 1:27AM Pacific is the New Moon in Scorpio. Scorpio is a very spiritual sign that goes deep into things causing growth to allow death and rebirth. Letting go of what doesn’t work and allowing new ideas and actions to create what it is we really want. We must let go of the old to replace it with the new.

We have just finished an eclipse that was all about letting go of the past for healing and has transformed us. Dr. Michael Lennox says “because of having just completed this cycle, this is a time for incremental movement toward change moving forward. But with the New Moon in Scorpio (death & rebirth) & Uranus present (the great eliminator, sudden, unexpected change) we can expect there will continue to be energies of death and change.” This is a good time to better learn to accept change and set intentions toward trusting in your intuition/Spirit for your guidance in managing the change that is before us. Winter is symbolic of shorter days, longer nights and things dying. It is acknowledging the hidden things we don’t want to know within ourselves. This New Moon is inevitable to present us with shadow work (lessons) and produce change/death. Intentions on how to navigate the unwanted or unexpected change, would be a good focus to include in your intentions as well.

These past few weeks I have been dealing with rescuing 2 dogs in a shelter amongst limited free time because of the pressures of a busy time at work. Every day I talked to the shelter, the story of when they were available changed along with many unknowns. Through this process, my mind would get ahead of today or drop me into the past creating anxiety and resistance, leading to stress. The mind and emotions are seeking control over the uncontrollable. The only good thing that has come from it, was recognizing the unproductive patterns awakening me to move toward creating positive change forward. This experience has led me to turn to my intuition, my higher knowing and trust what I perceive for guidance. To get out of my head and emotions and perceive my steps forward trusting what I know, how to flow with the unexpected turns and what situations to avoid. To feel solid in my plan and know what is best for all involved will be, while trusting the unknown outcome. This NM is about trusting and flowing through the ebbs with the knowledge Spirit is your lifetime partner in all situations. Your co-creator that guides you to your truth in situations. It feels to me like the answer I have been looking for to reduce my anxiety and stress of the unknown is to put my mind/emotions to rest. As they have not been the answers, but only the instigators! Collette Baron-Reid suggests “ we define what happiness means to us. To recognize when we are going through the lessons in life we can still be happy in the fulfillment and meaning of learning. Happiness is not just an emotion and does not determine how we feel.” Happiness is a much bigger picture than our emotions at any given day and more in line with the satisfaction of how we live and conduct our lives..

Let’s draw a card from “The Good Tarot” deck by Collette Baron-Reid. I like this deck because it speaks in positive affirmations and at the New Moon in setting intentions, that is perfect. The question for this New Moon is “how can we manage this time of deep, unwanted or sudden time of change with grace and wisdom?” I drew the “10 of Water”, the meaning of this card is serenity, peace, good fortune & well-being. The affirmation is: All is well with the world and with me. Well-being is my natural state. Everything I need comes to me easily and effortlessly. I feel joy and express it to others as I look around and see all the love that we share. I take pleasure in all I have accomplished. Whatever attention I receive or don’t receive, I am serene, for I know full well what is took for me to get to where I am. I celebrate myself and all who traveled the road with me and feel grateful to Spirit for being my companion always.

In closing, if we can just get out of our own way and depend less on our minds and emotions to guide us and have more faith/trust in Spirit, I believe we will be led to follow the truth of our soul. Our soul’s truth is our path to fulfill our fate, our purpose in life, our everyday trials. Lessons are part of our fated lives on this earth, so experiences leading to change and death are inevitable and need to be welcomed. Our mind and emotions represent our history, for an opportunity to awaken wisdom & truth, not create drama. How we navigate the lessons make the difference. Be wise! Learn how Spirit communicates to you in life. If there is confusion, continue to create, dream and pray/ask for solutions. Keep talking to Spirit and let them know what it is you need help with and open yourself to see. If your motivation is not in the right place, Spirit will keep refining the circumstances through lessons the situation resolves. Spiritual guides and beings are always there for us, just waiting for each of us to include them in our journey. Like invisible friends.

Full Moon in Taurus

October 28, 2023 at 1:23pm, Pacific marks the the time of the Full Moon in Taurus and the Lunar Eclipse in Taurus and Scorpio in the Northern Hemisphere. This Full Moon is about recognizing the things you hold on to in life motivated by fear, control, unawareness, deprivation, etc. Not allowing yourself to see the aspects of the path to replacing what has worked for you in your life up to this point no longer serves you moving forward. Because Taurus is ruled by Venus, this lunation is about love in all aspects of our life. Taurus brings stability, grounding, abundance and the comforts in life – earth based. Opposing the Taurus Moon is the very deep thinking and spiritually powerful Scorpio who elicits the energy of recognizing what needs to change in order for what we want to be born. Commonly defined in Astrology as death and rebirth. I love the example from the card “Chaos & Conflict” in the Wisdom of the Oracle Cards by Collette Baron-Reid that explains: “Opposing forces creates chaos by which our beliefs/actions get scattered to the wind leaving parts of ourself no longer needed & blowing seeds into the world to birth new life. Chaos leads to the reordering of things.” What is presently happening in your life illustrating a need for reordering? Michael Lennox gives the example of the person hanging by a tree branch fearing death if they let go, not realizing if they let go, is the land of opportunity of what they desire just below. I ask, what are you attached to with blinders on? What are you unwilling to change because you fear loosening the grip will open you to the unknown and you can’t risk it, even though desire change? When you set your New Moon intentions, know the change & potential chaos comes to help discover what you desire, which sits before you in the aftermath. But you have to go through the change to birth the dream, no matter how small or profound.

Dr. Michale Lennox explains partially in my words, “while the North & South Nodes are what trigger eclipses & the Nodes have moved into Libra and Aries, in this eclipse the Sun in Scorpio is close enough to the South Node on the other side of Libra for this to be a Taurus/Scorpio Eclipse this lunation.” You can read more about the Saros Cycle to understand more clearly what that all means, per Michael Lennox, Astrologer. “It is important to understand the Nodes have been in Taurus & Scorpio for the past 2 years, so we have been working on this opposition during eclipse season for quite some time.” This eclipse could allow us to finalize the changes (death/rebirth) we have been working toward with love, relationships, abundance since 2021. Venus will continue to rule our eclipses moving forward as it also rules Libra. With the chaos of the world and the we/me opposing energies of the Nodes in Libra and Aries, it will be important to realize in order for us to find peace in this world, we must find it in our hearts and put that forth to the world in order to have it on a collective level. Libra is about harmony and balance for us all while Aries can be single minded and compulsive as well as courageous and powerful in creating change. The saying, “Be the change you hope to see” couldn’t be more important in the coming years as Neptune, Uranus & Saturn all change signs. And the rotor rooter of the galaxy, Pluto will continue to move into Aquarius. This is significant change ahead and the best way to weather the storm is to show compassion and love toward your fellow man and be the peace loving change you hope to see.

Let’s draw a card to see what it is we need to know about staying grounded while we release the things that we need to let go of? Today I am drawing a card from the online “Spirit Animal Oracle” deck & the card is: Giraffe Spirit in protection. The book reads: Are you sticking your neck out too far, reaching too high instead of looking around you to see the conditions on the ground? Your devotion to co-creating something new is admirable, but Giraffe Spirit is showing up to remind you that you have to look at the whole picture, not just the tasty leaves at the top of the tree. Other points the book makes: Perhaps you are ruminating over the worries of the world instead of paying attention to what you can do right now, where you are, to bring about the change you would like to see. Perspective is necessary now. Transformation begins with you, don’t get to far up into the clouds thinking about all the big problems that you lose perspective.

I will finish by saying to remember to always evaluate your motivation for the things you dream of. Remember when you set goals and dreams into motion, change happens. If is important that when you dream of change, you remember how you want to feel and what is required of you to let go of to have your dreams. Be grounded, keep them right-sized and trust that knowing your truth means it is possible. But most of all, be willing to trust when your dreams unfold, this is what you hoped for and what you want is just on the other side of letting go. Have compassion and courage to follow your heart toward the change of your dreams.

My Happy Place

I am most happy when I am in a neutral place both mentally and emotionally. Where I can just go through my day to see things as they are without any further thought or emotion. Not accepting or judging, just seeing it as it is. It gives me objectivity to accept people where they are in their process in life and allows me to acknowledge what I need to pray &/or meditate for to empower healing and balance for myself and others. I believe this state helps people to accept themselves and release what may be triggering them more efficiently. I strive to listen to venting, but not empower the imbalanced perspectives that may be included. We all need to vent to process. It is how the vent ends that indicates if it served it’s purpose or not. I try to hear myself when I vent and recognize my part in the incident and acknowledge how I can change that moving forward. Take responsibility where responsibility lies without blame. Not build more anger or dislike to the situation. Again, as I have said many times, how we feel inside ourselves is what the world mirrors back to us. If we buy into our victim in situations without responsibility on some level, we continue down the victim path in life. To see and acknowledge from a neutral place is like the silent observer without attachment. When we can remove ourselves from our own situation mentally and emotionally, we often open our vision to see things more clearly. After processing we realize sometimes how we triggered a situation without intention. It is a wonderful place to be, free of triggers and negativity. And hopefully bringing balance to others.

I hear a lot people say (I have before as well), “the 2 things I don’t talk about is politics and religion. Those conversations don’t belong here or on social media.” Oddly enough, in my observation, those are usually the most easily triggered conversations when they do happen. Is it because we don’t talk about it and when we do, we are so deep into our own beliefs we can’t accept an opposing opinion? The first round of discussion can easily be the most emotionally triggered. Afterward we all feel differently, anger or judgement at the person we had the discussion with, maybe guilt for being mean/rude/controlling or angry at ourselves. How we see the aftermath is critical in many ways. I try to continue to find empathy for the person I just had this experience with and ask that I may be given the opportunity to reproach it from a more balanced, curious, open minded space. The goal should be to hear what each person believes, not to try to change them. There is nothing more motivating than to hear new information and to explore it whether it be right or wrong to your own beliefs. But to discard and discredit it automatically doesn’t allow for truth to evolve. You may be right and the other person may be opened to hear something they have been misled on or vise versa. There is always a meeting in the middle place that I feel is important to produce change and evolvement. And for each of us to realize just how much judgement we do have on those that believe differently than us. In having a discussion, it can open us to see how we make opposing opinions wrong rather than praying that truth prevail. And usually we receive new truths and so do they. But most importantly, we realize that we all are in a different place in life, vibrating at a different frequency. Mixing and matching those vibrations with the hope of truth can make this world a better place.

Try a day of neutrality, neither agreeing or disagreeing, just hearing. And then at the end of the day, pray for truth, healing and balance. See what happens as a result of it. Make note of your internal reactions when being neutral. And be sure to journal so you can be reminded of the place you started and evolve toward.

Let’s draw a card and ask: What do I need to know to heal my differences in conversations? I drew a card from “Wisdom of the Oracle” by Collette Baron-Reid. The card is: “Between Worlds” – the essential meaning is: Transitions, not being quite out of the one situation and fully engaged in another, temporary blindness, no man’s-land. The book goes on to say: Between the worlds is where you must let go of the tendency to make assumptions. This is the time when you are unable to see what is ahead. Cultivate curiosity and trust the process of change and growth. In this place you are done learning the lessons of the experience that have just passed. In this place, between what was and what will be is a state of making and unmaking and making again. You are encouraged to see the curious eye of a child seeing a rainbow for the 1st time.

This information brings to my mind when we talk to people we strongly disagree with on something we have just been through and learned our own solution and so have they. When we both came out with differing strategies which oppose one another on some level. We want to illustrate why our strategy is the correct one in our debate and why their strategy is wrong or point out it’s faults. Rather than ask questions, be curious where they got their information and explore the pros and cons of our outcomes together. We may still disagree, but we will have learned more about where the person is coming from. The outcomes of our decisions usually illustrate a bigger picture with history. To share our experiences most often teaches us something moving forward. To do it without triggering a disagreement & sarcasm is something to strive toward. And better than empowering dissent and wedging distance. In the end, we all can pray that we all find our truth, healing and balance. It can help to open ourselves and others to see what we are blind to. And hopefully empower us for round two, each round more productive while maintaining and building friendship.

New Moon in Libra…

October 14 marks the New Moon in Libra along with a solar eclipse at 10:54am PDT. I awoke to a dim sunlit morning and reflections of a crescent sun peaking through our plantation blinds onto the floor moving toward a ring of fire, an annular solar eclipse. Eclipses occur when the Sun and Earth are in alignment with one of the Nodes of the Moon. This is a South Node eclipse because the Libra Sun is close to the South Node. The South Node is about our past, karma, letting go of what we brought into this life from the past in order to move toward the future. With the South Node in Libra and the North Node in Aries, this New Moon gives us the opportunity to plant seeds of intention to move toward better relationships, the balance of we vs me, decision making and how we respond.

I recently returned from a trip to remote Indonesia where I led a group for a scuba diving vacation. The trip was a combined mix of people with differing life views. It comes to mind in this New Moon as part of Libra and Aries brings to the surface, how we react to our differences with honesty and grace with our communication and actions. Recognizing who we choose to spend time with and how we let go of what no longer works in relationships with people and life. When we are triggered can we still maintain honesty, grace and open ourselves to our inner feelings to explore true feelings in the experience. Then decide what needs to change in order to be honest with ourselves and others. Recognizing that rejection is nothing to chase, but to see as a fork in the road to inspire a new direction toward your true self and desired life. Making changes that sometimes result in endings in order to create new beginnings. The result brings about opportunities to see more clearly how you reflect your inner self to the outer world. Is your grace real or are you pleasing to stay where you are? The events this New Moon & eclipse season kicks off will be karmic and fated to empower you to let go of the past so you may move forward to your fated future. Seize the moment for healing in relationships, love, intimacy, finances, communications and actions.

Let’s ask the cards “How do we utilize Spirit and this conscious awakening to create our fated future with honesty & grace? The card I drew is from “Wisdom of the Oracle” by Collette Baron-Reid is “Breathe” – the essential meaning is: Patience; waiting; going slowly; all is well; meditation; trust. The book reminds us to breath, use this life force to take your time, let nature takes it’s course, allow the heart time to open. Your heart often knows what the ego tries to resist. Trust your intuition and release your mind, create space for spirit to communicate through meditation.

In summary, I think this is a time to recognize where you need balance in your life. If you are being forced to slow down, what have you been ignoring? If you are in conflict, what can bring harmony, middle ground? If you are unhappy, what false flags do you honor in your life? If you are confused, are you remembering this is a time for creation? Remember that creation comes from a reciprocal relationship with spirit. There is a fine line between doing what you know to create and trusting your intuition in taking action. Sometimes our physical world & it’s structure can block new beginnings because of the box we live within for comfort. This new moon is about collaboration, negotiation and honest cooperation inside and outside ourselves. With this New Moon, destiny may force your hand to see how you block your fated future. Make you recognize how you ignore your inner wisdom to truth. Take this opportunity to hear your conscious awareness toward your fated future. Don’t let life repress your true self, let it fuel a graced, innate destiny.

New Moon in Virgo

September 14, 2023 is the New Moon in Virgo in the Northern Hemisphere. Virgo deals with organization, the body, embodying, accomplishing, healing and health. Virgo is ruled by Chiron the Great Healer and Mercury, the mind & communication.

This is a New Moon with great potential for manifesting things of physical form, expansion, healing, love and creating new desires. It is a time to reflect on where you are presently with your life lessons and reflect back on how far you have come. Acknowledge who you used to be and see who you are now. For writing intentions this New Moon, think about where you want to go moving forward. Whatever your desires are, ask, believe & trust spirit will bring you what you need to accomplish your goals. Avoid fixating, over defining and trying to control your outcome.

The things to be aware of in setting your intentions is to keep your goals and ambitions right-sized. There is potential for delusion, confusion and over the top responses to situations & relationships, but also potential for strong spiritual guidance and support. Keep things in balance and don’t make things more than they are. If you get a sign from spirit, don’t think this is going to necessarily always be a big breakthrough or promise a miracle. See it more as a sign along the path to your goals and be grateful. Keep moving forward as you learn and grow. Make decisions and choices, let go of expecting others to create and do for you. Open yourself to new ideas in response to your intentions, because the Universe may surprise you with a new idea or direction in life.

Let’s see what the cards say we need to know about letting go of the old life stories to move toward healing and new intentions. I drew a card from the “Wisdom of the Oracle Deck” by Collette Baron-Reid. The card is: “Flexible.” The essential meaning of this card is: Teachability; open-mindedness; being adaptable without compromising what’s most important. The book gives the example of a tree and how it’s roots are firmly planted in the ground, yet its branches can bend in a hurricane….where a rigid structure like a building will come crashing down. The tree remains supple and secure when everything around it may be in shambles. It is important to be willing to learn new things, be teachable, malleable, yet firmly grounded in who you are. Common sense is important, but so is an open mind.

In closing, I have been exploring learning more about Astrology. One important lesson I learned in this free seminar series I participated in a few weeks ago, is when learning to read an astrology chart can help you to accept yourself and others more. Help you to release the unrealistic expectations you may have for yourself and others. As we all know, it can help you to realize what your souls purpose is in this life and most importantly why you are who you are. I especially liked the idea of when you learn to read charts of other people, it helps you to see that person for who they are and why they aren’t like you, why trying to change them may not be possible. It helps take the judgement about others away & possibly helps to release pet peeves. It teaches us to understand that what you are good at, others may never be. Or it is much more work for them. It really opens you to see people for who they are, not what they aren’t.

That is the beauty of learning something different that spirit may be leading you toward. When I started this seminar series I didn’t really understand it’s intent was to recruit astrology students. I just felt very interested and realized I had nothing to lose by signing up as it was free. When you feel inspired and curious, it is worth the effort to explore and possibly be led to a new path of discovery or deeper into something you desire. Let go of the negative thoughts and explore what you don’t understand to find balance. It will cleanse your Aura and help you to attract more goodness in your life. Always remember, when you heal yourself, you are contributing to the energy of healing others.

Full Moon in Pisces

On August 30 at 6:36pm Pacific time is the Full Moon/Blue Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. The analytical, detailed, organized, servant and embodiment of the productive Virgo Sun is shining light on the dreamy, insightful, compassionate, devoted, emotional, expansive Pisces Moon. Earth element Virgo is good with structure, schedules, organizing while Water sign Pisces is not as they are flowing, optimistic & hard to get a fixed handle on and feel very deeply. Full Moons are about letting go of the unconscious, our aspects in motion needing improvement. Look how perfectionism, judgement can challenge the confusion, lack of commitment or isolation. See your challenges as gifts rather than mistakes. As without them, you wouldn’t have opportunities to grow or create change.

The influences this month involve not only the Sun and the Moon, but retrogrades and planets that rule the mind, discipline, emotions, unconscious, conscious, giving and receiving of love. It is time of potential great healing. Dr. Michael Lennox suggests you offer the following prayer: “I am ready to release anything known and unknown, conscious and unconscious, that inhibits my ability to fully express the life I am creating for myself.” He also states “Your conscious mind does not need to have clarity when working with the unconscious so directly.” I walk away with trust that healing will happen.

There is potential in this Full Moon to manifest if we are practical and honest with what does or doesn’t work or needs reviewed to correct course. Rather than go inward when confused to ignite a false story, go outward to discuss to get clarification and avoid misperceptions or false narratives. Life is always about adjusting as you gain wisdom when in the unknown, as you grow and learn. It takes both practicality and insight to stick to the course of our dreams. Focus on the areas that aren’t easy for you and ask spirit to partner with you in finding your path forward. Then get quiet and listen to learn.

Let’s see what the cards say about identifying and releasing what blocks our path to our dreams. I drew a card from the “Oracle of the 7 Energies” by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew is: “Let It Go!” The essential meaning of this card is forgiveness, healing resentments, shedding the role of the eternal martyr, letting go of victimhood, cutting the ties that bind you to a destructive story, releasing pain so you can move into the lesson it offers, relinquishing the need to be right. Some of the highlighted points the book makes that I want to share are: Forgiveness is simply a commitment to stop telling an old story so you don’t carry it’s burden anymore. If you don’t forgive, old hurts fester and become distorted, causing you pain over and over again. Say no to drama in all forms, and forgive yourself and others for engaging in it. If something is awry–whether it’s your perception, your emotional reactions, your judgment, and so forth–it’s up to you to clean it up. Forgiveness is the key to a liberated and meaningful life. No matter what method you choose, just do it!

I will add that recently I have these incidents of the past that have come forward in my memory that make me feel bad or wrong because of how I handled them in the process of learning. In the past, I used to delve into the negative emotion of my mistakes and make myself feel bad for how I handled it. Now I recognize the memory, forgive myself and say that was a long time ago. I did the best I could at the time. I have learned from this incident and I am better because of it. That incident happened to teach me to correct my course and become a better me. Thank you Creator for the life lesson, I am grateful!
