New Moon in Aries

March 21, 2023 at 10:23am PDT marks the New Moon in Aries. Aries is the 1st sign of the zodiac and the beginning of the Astrological New Year. This New Moon will be at 0 degrees Aries which is considered a world axis point which represents an Equinox which affects everyone on earth at the same time in the same way. This New Moon a powerful time and is about starting new beginnings, energy, enthusiasm, and pioneering.

Aries is known to be the leader, the one to take action first, courageous, determined, confident, enthusiastic, optimistic, honest and passionate. They can also be impatient, moody, short tempered, impulsive and aggressive. It is their nature to take action, sometimes before thinking things through. They have excellent organizational skills and rarely are afraid. Aries is the most active sign of the zodiac.

The present influences will help us to communicate our needs, perceive and understand information. We will be challenged to find a way we can contribute to the greater good, given the healings from the past. There is also the ability to expand and magnify things good or bad. So it is important to recognize which way you are affected and keep balance as you move forward.

In setting your intentions for the New Moon. It is important you are aware of what is ahead. The astrologers of the world are all chanting “this is a big deal!” On March 25th Pluto will enter into Aquarius. Pluto transforms things collectively & culturally, rather than personally. It brings death and rebirth, tears down what needs to change without awareness of collateral damage. It will be in Aquarius until June, then it will retrograde back into Capricorn to finish it’s work with transforming structures. On January 21, 2024 Pluto will return to Aquarius for the next 20 years where astrologers are predicting it to transform technology, societal equality, & community. The next 2-5 yrs is said to be the most turbulent with big transformation. The last time Pluto was in Aquarius the planet experienced the ratification of the US Constitution, the French Revolution, the Industrial Revolution and swept social order and rights changes. In addition to this, we have 3 Planets moving through Aries, the sign of individualism & war. Jupiter in 2023 (expand and magnifies), Saturn in 2025-2028 (the teacher, rules & structures, the task master & rules Aquarius), Neptune (2025-2039) (spirituality, intuition, illusionary, compassionate & rules Pisces). So with Pluto in it’s “one size fits all”, Aries individualism, action and war and Aquarius community, sovereignty, innovation, technology & need for the truth, we are in for quite a ride the next 20 years. Right now we currently have the power to plant seeds in this New Moon to guide us through all this with the intentions we set.

In setting your intentions, think about the polarities of all this and what is currently vulnerable and needing or pushing for change in our world. We have never been more divided and Pluto is about to say, one size fits all, come together. With this New Moon being at 0 degrees of Aries, it is a time to plant seeds for new beginnings. Who do you want to be or become over the next 20 yrs as Pluto tears things apart? What is your role for the good of all? It is time to be your authentic self, find the power of your purpose, take action and to surround yourself with people who will empower your goals. Leave behind that which does not empower authenticity and truth. It is also a time to connect with your intuition and trust it’s guidance. Is the new technology in the coming 2 decades you as a spiritual being and the power that is within? Since we are at a collective time of influence at this New Moon, it is imperative we look honestly at what we believe inside ourselves and see what the world is reflecting back at us as a result. Your intentions need to include the needed changes and how you can assist for the good of all motivated by the truth in your heart. It is a time when you can either run off the cliff with the fear, helplessness and chaos the media presents in all this, or you can choose to have courage, patience and follow your inner truth. Be motivated to act for the good of all with innovation driving the needed change toward community, freedom and truth. What is your fate and purpose on this earth?

Let’s look at what the cards say & ask: How can I be my best self to energize change for the good of all? I drew a card from The Dream Weavers deck featured online by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew is “ When the Storm Spirits Play”. The essential meaning of this card is understanding how to navigate divine chaos, clear the air, stir the pot, scatter seeds, bring new possibilities. (Wow, you can’t make this stuff up – I literally picked a card from her online deck and this is what I got!) Anyway this is what it goes on to say about this card: You are being asked to surrender your need to control outer circumstances, which is based on a desire to feel more certain, avoid confrontation, or resist change. This card signifies a time to trust that this chaos, this disorder, this turbulence that has shown up in your life is temporary, but important. You are now able to release the unnecessary or that which you’ve resisted releasing.

Consider how clean the air is after a storm, how dead branches are pruned from trees, and how potent seeds are scattered so new life can sprout in new soil. Even if you find yourself in conflict now, there is a gift in this. It invites you to see things from alternative perspectives and provides you with a lot of valuable information. New, important possibilities arise from the chaos at hand. For now, the highest good for you is to remain in the center of the storm. Meditate and be mindful of your reactions, as you don’t yet have all the information.

I think this card said it all. Stay focused on your long term goals and outcomes rather than get caught up in the chaos. Believe and know truth and goodness will come out of the ashes and stay guided by your heart and truth, with the intention of your actions to be for the good of all. Remain hopeful that conflict will resolve itself with fairness, peace and abundance. It is the Age of Aquarius and we have to remove what doesn’t fit into sovereignty, freedoms, truth, technology, creativity & community. Good and evil will always exist because that is reality, but like they say, there is the potential for more good than bad. You have the opportunity to be a driving part of the good if you clean up inside yourself what you are presently reflecting into the world that contributes to the negative, so it can reflect for the good of all. Let go of the fear, doubt, hatred, overwhelm and find courage, faith, honesty, how you can be of service and let spirit become your partner in guiding you forward. Time to connect with your higher self and live an authentic life. Plant those seeds and move forward to be of service for the good of all however you can.

Peace and Love, Susan

Finding Your Way…..

When we are finding our way blindly through life, it can be awakening, invigorating, confusing, fearful, chaotic – a myriad of emotions. Earlier this week I had 2 dreams about which way to go when unfamiliar with the outcome of my choice. One dream I was in a hallway with all these choices of which door to go through. There was the door that I always took that never gave a solution or a new door with undefined solutions. I chose the new door. Somehow the story below seems connected.

Last week, my husband and I were leaving an amazing concert, Billy’s Joel and Stevie Nicks at SoFi Stadium. We had not been to SoFi before & as we exited the stadium, it was misting heavily. In So. CA, we are not used to rain of any sort! The concert was late getting out, it was after 11:30pm and we exited from a different gate than we entered, so we were a bit disoriented once outside. Not thinking on arrival, I hadn’t paid attention to where we parked, my bad. Thankfully my husband had taken note of it. He knew where he was going, but as I followed, I kept thinking our vehicle was not as far in the direction we were headed, but I was still disoriented exactly where we were. While following him, I was not fully trusting, in the rain no less, adding doubt & resisting energy to the situation. Not exactly a supportive motive to operate for a successful outcome. Finally, we came upon the Orange Lot, our section and saw the Red section sign we remembered turning at to park. Because it was familiar we moved to where the vehicle should be, but it was not there. Did I mention, it was raining? We wandered a bit more to try to decide which way to go and then returned to this familiar spot, but the car was definitely not there even though it seemed it should be. Being the nice guy, my husband defaulted to my thinking we should go the opposite direction he wanted to go. Then instantly, when we headed in my direction, I knew something wasn’t right. The Pisces indecisiveness that doesn’t go over well came up instantly. Rather than change my mind instantly, I let the process flow, told him I trusted his decision. We then turned around, I followed in trust & faith we were heading in the right direction & it did feel right. We next found the last piece to the puzzle, the gate number we had entered, which we were both definite about. And there was the vehicle! Our raincoats drenched, we happily got in our vehicle only to notice several passersby looking lost as well. We didn’t feel alone.

Upon exit, we pulled our vehicle into line to exit left and quickly came to a stop. After about 5-10 min. of complete gridlock, it became apparent, this exit wasn’t going to move any time soon. I looked to the right and just 3 rows over the traffic was exiting & moving, but we were trapped and it was still raining! After a short discussion, we agreed that was the way to go. But my husband didn’t understand what I was trying to tell him about how he could get out of our line by maneuvering & visibility was not great. Rather than getting frustrated, I decided to get out with a bit of apprehension to ask the cars behind us to back up so we could get out, luckily there were only 2! Maybe being lost did pay off, as the parking lot was part empty & would make all this much easier. The minute I opened my door there was this man standing there and he said to me “That is the way to go,” pointing to my planned exit, “but I am locked in” he said. I sympathized with him and wished him luck and moved on as this was the validation I needed to shake my apprehension. I approached the first car and she was buried in her phone but I got her attention. She rolled down her window and listened to my idea & expressed gratitude. Next car the same and shortly we were all on the move. Yay!

In retrospect, the first place in the parking lot my husband & I thought we should find the car, wasn’t. We revisited that spot a couple of times before we could accept that wasn’t the spot & we hadn’t missed the vehicle. On our life journeys into the new, each time we revisit what seems familiar, but not complete, it allows us to re-evaluate the truth, the path forward. Usually it is just part of the puzzle we are solving. Have you ever considered that the familiar could be a memory from a past life or possibly a dream you didn’t remember? I am told familiarly in unknown circumstances can sometimes can be just that. How we emotionally respond can be triggered by deep, unconscious awareness. Some times we bang our heads against a wall several times before we can find the solution. We often will revisit the familiar hoping it will fulfill our quest or see something we overlooked. In our case, luckily we both stayed objective, showed teamwork & proceeded forward, somewhat blindly to then see the gate number, our solution. Once we continued the direction my husband wanted to go and I trusted fully, we found our answer and our vehicle. Motivation and perspective are invaluable energy to be mindful of when finding your way.

This is the same type of journey we all go on when we are entering something new. We grasp the familiar and use that as our foundation. As we enter into the unknown we try to perceive & think what is true and what is not. The familiar is our history, what we know up to that point, but it is not complete, only part of the puzzle. Our detours are our doubt, ego, emotions, past trauma, denial, physical comfort or discomfort, etc. Trust, faith & humility are big players in finding our way to accomplish our goals. The more you experience the unfamiliar, the more comfortable it becomes and you can prosper in life. Unless you are happy where you are, but only you can decide that.

Let’s see what the cards say. How can we navigate the unknown without fear and remain focused on our outcome? I drew a card from the Shaman’s Dream deck by Collette Baron-Reid & Alberto Villoldo. The card I drew is: “The Wall” From the guide book: There are many moments in your life you are so geared up, so sure that you are on track, with such drive and momentum, that you are shocked and confused when you encounter a wall. This unpredictability occurs outside your ability to plan, regardless if you’ve done everything right. It’s imperative you change your attitude. Your life may be meant to serve another purpose at this moment, and your attention meant to be directed elsewhere. Perhaps it’s because all you desire and have set in motion needs time to coalesce into form on the other side. Could it be that all the elements are not yet in place for its manifestation to be for the highest good for all? Patience is required & the wisdom that this might be a great time to take a break and contemplate gratitude. What is truly yours will never be walled off from you.

I think this card agrees with my example above in certain respects. Whatever wall you may be hitting in your life right now, remember it takes time, patience and re-evaluation to proceed. But one thing that is constant is the truth in your heart and the motivation of your actions. Always go within to check these things and see how you can course correct. Consider the journey an act of navigation, not just success and failure.

Full Moon in Virgo….

Around 4:40am Pacific time on Tuesday, March 7 is the Full Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. We have the Sun in Pisces shining light on the Moon in Virgo. The Pisces Sun is the source of all things creative, blissful, it wants us to live with ease, compassion and oneness. The Pisces Sun illuminates the shadow of Virgo which triggers perfectionism, overthinking, emotion, over analyzing, worry, self-doubt, self-criticism & workaholic tendencies. The shadow of Virgo limits us from living our Pisces intentions. There is a spiritual source wanting to come through each of us that our human bodies try to block with our wounds of the past. Pisces wants us to be creative, do tasks with more ease, incorporate self-compassion as we learn, be whole and connected as one, exercise acceptance, experience bliss and conduct ourselves with a balanced flow of spirit and our physical bodies (mind/emotions). Pisces can react to it’s own shadow with escapism, avoidance, addition and self-sacrifice. This Full Moon is about healing the gap and finding balance between Pisces and Virgo.

Remember that Pisces is the end of the astrological year. A time to look over the past year and acknowledge the healing and growth you have obtained. And acknowledge what wounds still limit you from living life connected to spirit as a physical being on a daily basis. To live in 2 realms at the same time, spirit & earth. The influences of this Full Moon support spiritual healing, expansion and love. Take this support and let go of the burdens, delusions, fears, self-doubt and constrictions that limit you from being connected to oneness & bliss. Practice self-compassion toward yourself and others as you learn lessons, fail & make mistakes. See life as a learning experience full of lessons as you continue to flow through life. This Full Moon provides us with the energy of liberation. It is time to learn to flow with change and make choices & take action that influence the outcome. A time to trust flow and break free from what limits you. When faced with a fork in the road know you can trust your body to communicate the truth for a greater solution.

Just hours after the Full Moon on Tuesday morning, Saturn (the rule maker, structure creator) will enter Pisces where it will be until May 24, 2026. Saturn is presently sitting at that last degrees of Aquarius and is looking back over it’s mastery of the past 3 yrs in Aquarius and letting go of the unfinished work. In Pisces, Saturn will be ruled by Neptune (the Great Spirit) creating spiritual discipline & karmic reckonings dealing with lessons of spiritual connection. We will have the influence of all the good things about Pisces, forgiveness, flow, bliss, oneness, creative inspiration. Saturn will bring lessons that challenge our Pisces to include lack of forgiveness, lack of spiritual discipline, lack of flow, lack of boundaries, etc. You have the opportunity now to prepare yourself for the upcoming changes by setting intentions for wisdom and strength to guide you with compassion through the life experiences Saturn will bring.

Let’s see what the cards tell us with the question of: How can we release the old wounds that limit our embodiment of spirit into our routines and actions so we can live a more compassionate life? I drew a card from the Oracle of the 7 Energies by Collette Baron-Reid. The card is: A Tall Tale. The essential meaning of this card from the book: denial, concealing the truth so you can manipulate and control a situation, fear based communication, finding a narrative to hide behind, not allowing the fear of what others will think to influence your words, learning to communicate from a place of authenticity.

I say: If you listen to your body and hear your heart (connect to spirit), you always know when something is not true. Our wounds can step into our minds and emotions to create confusion & chaos and you must recognize that as false truth. Be brave to speak the truth. Change creates chaos and brings out our fears of repercussions when standing alone in our truth. We must have the courage to know that following truth is the path forward. It prevents the long detour lies create to get to the solution, the end result. When you avoid the truth and follow a false truth, it is doomed to fail and can create self-harm. Be on the side of victory and liberation. Find a source of true courage to stand with to empower you when you are weak. Meditate on finding what you need to empower you to do what is best, not to just follow and let others make your decisions for you. Have the courage to jump in and feel the exhilaration of accomplishing your truth. Hear all the inspiration that follows. Open your mind to new ideas and find your truth tribe. If you do falter to a delusion or lie, forgive yourself when you admit to your truth and let go of the wounds that sent you on that misguided journey. Learn the signs of denial & escape within yourself so you will not be tricked again. Learn to stand up to fear with objective confidence and open yourself to find a way to gain courage in disagreement with those you love. Hear the opposition, but stand strong in your truth and pray for those who have been led astray from their own truth to awakened. Then be there with an open and compassionate heart to support their path forward.

The Best Days…..

Today was one of those days where spirit is just guiding me. I had a clear mind and set out for some errands with intentions to use my intuition and be curious about the unknown. It was nothing profound, but a good reminder when you leave your emotions and logic out of it you can be led right where you need to be when being guided by spirit. I went to a home builders store to find a piece of wood that is glued and finished to look like a backboard. I didn’t know where in the gigantic wood department I would find it. Of course I could have asked for assistance, but I kind of wanted to find it myself. When I first went into the store, I was initially a bit overwhelmed, then I headed to the lumber department with curiosity, envisioning what I wanted. I walked along the main aisle with a clear mind/emotions and felt inclined to turn, so I did. And about midway down the aisle was exactly what I needed. It was great! What I initially feared would take forever to find, then intended to find, happened quickly and easily.

A few days later I went for my annual physical. Afterward I needed to get bloodwork done. When I went down to the lab it was jammed & the line to check-in was long. I decided to wait and come back another time. In the evening before bed, I always set intentions and ask for guidance where needed. Whether it be through dreams or just being guided by spirit. That night I asked to be motivated with out doubt when the lab would be slow to go to get my bloodwork. The following morning, I had an uncontested urge to go get the bloodwork first thing. So I gathered myself and set out. When I got there were 2 people ahead of me to check in and I waited less than 10 min. to get my blood drawn. I was home in less than an hour! This is normally a 20 min. drive each way from my house! I was elated how effortless it was.

Although these are trivial tasks, it is such a great feeling when we are just led directly to the solution without a lot of trial and error. Being of open mind, in a intended, trusting and curious perspective, really is a rewarding place to create, discover and accomplish. One thing to also remember is when you are blindly asking for a sign of your next step to be open and not try to control the form of your answer. But be more tuned into it’s truth for your circumstance.

I recently listened to a reading by Collette Baron-Reid for the month of March. She ended it with some powerful words: “Wherever our attention is – is what we signal to the universe we want more of. Pay attention to what you want & less attention to what you don’t want. Put more attention into what you stand for and less attention into what you don’t stand for. That is what will lead us forward.” What perspective you come from is what you create. And because we are all connected, we create our reality, our environment, we contribute to an energy of influence. We have so much power to guide life and we don’t often use that power to benefit ourselves or our world. We tend to focus on what is wrong and what we don’t know how to accomplish. Spirit is here for us always. And we have to ask for what we want, have a conversation with spirit, because they are listening and ready to help. always intend what is for your highest good and for the good of all. Then be patient, go about our way and pay attention for the signs that lead us to the end result. We have to be honest with ourselves when we see a sign and if it is what will allow us to accomplish what we are capable of doing without throwing us off course or over extending our hearts desire. Sometimes the sign is a stepping stone for growth and not the end result. That is where you have to be honest with yourself. Does it make you feel like it is what you want or are you just thinking that this is what I am supposed to do and why? Also, trust that spirit has your best interest at heart and they are listening. If you are not seeing your answers, maybe it is time to shift your focus and consider a new objective.

Let us draw a card from the Wisdom of the Oracle Deck by Collette Baron-Reid. The question is, how can I stay focused on what I want & avoid negative/fearful thoughts? The card I drew: “Chaos & Conflict in protection mode. The card booklet says, This is an advantageous moment to restore order and recognize the opportunity for negotiation. If your intention is to find the best solution for the highest good of all, there is positive news: the timing is perfect. Things are already stirred up, so don’t be afraid to jump into the mix. I say: remember that things have to get shaken up for you to find your path to truth. Usually when something is upsetting or against your beliefs, it is time to go within and find a solution to move forward. To recognize within yourself why you feel the discord. Is it motivated by unmet truth or does it require adjustments within to get to the truth? Do you understand the needed changes or should you perhaps meditate to open space in your mind for spiritual guidance? Chaos happens because there is change. You can contribute to guiding it toward truth by thinking and acting in your truth for the good of all. It is always important to recognize inside yourself how you contributed to the circumstances in order to steer toward truth. Even if it is because you were unaware until the change happened. Somehow we all contribute on some level at some time. Remember, our outer world reflects our inner world, denial can be blind. Change is meant to wake us up or motivate us to live our purpose on this earth at this time. The longer we each wait to live our truth, the more challenging it can be to reach it. For the inspiration is the inception. The less energy put into motion toward the negative, the less obstacles are created for the path forward to truth. Trust and knowing are two key tactics for success. And “Truth” is meant to be.

Peace & Love, Susan

New Moon in Pisces….

Late evening of March 19 or early morning on the 20th, depending on what time zone you are in marked the New Moon in Pisces in the Northern Hemisphere. The Moon joined the Sun 1 degree of Pisces and at the very same time, Venus was at the final degrees of Pisces before moving into Aries. Pisces is the final sign of the zodiac and embodies the wisdom of all the other signs preceding it. So this lunar cycle ends the zodiac calendar year and is a time of endings and preparing for new beginnings.

The New Moon in Pisces should include setting intentions of planting seeds of belief in the wisdom gained in the past year to carry you into the new beginnings. It should empower you moving forward with the grace and understanding required to accept what the future presents in a manner that is true to your heart and for the good of all. Knowing that you will know what is true and have the courage to act in accordance to that truth. We are on the verge of several powerful energetic shifts this year with the first happening mid-March when Pluto moves into Aquarius and Saturn will enter Pisces. It is unclear what these shifts will create, but astrologers believe we are going to begin drastic changes in our world over the next 2 years. Pluto is significant transformation, death and rebirth. Aquarius is the sign of progress and embodies technology. Together they have the ability to transform humanity. Saturn in Pisces is rules, regulations, structure vs. no boundaries, mysticism, deep feelings. It is worth it to more read about the history of these past meetings to understand the tendencies of the next 2 years. Therefore it is important in this New Moon to use the magic of Pisces to plant the seeds now to prepare ourselves moving forward. It will assist us to be ready in a knowing kind of way that keeps us out of fear of the new and unknown with the courage to trust our wisdom moving forward. And to always remember that the collective consciousness is powerful in how we solve the challenges ahead. We each can be a responsible power to ignite our outcomes by how we believe, trust, respond and act. Remember we are all connected through the same consciousness and we create our reality by what we put forth into the universe. A daily prayer for love, healing, peace and justice could go far these days.

Dr. Michael Lennox describes Pisces as the owner of the unconscious and all the power that comes from the infinite field of possibility from which all form springs. Pisces is about love and forgiveness and is ruled by Neptune, the planet known as the Great Spirit. So while Pisces is connected to all things it is also empowered by the mystical spirit at the same time. He also describes the influence of Venus in the final stages of Pisces this New Moon to be powerful. Venus wants love and in Pisces, there is no boundaries for that love. In the final degrees of a sign, Venus is sitting in all the wisdom of the sign of Pisces who represents all signs of the zodiac. So a very powerful time to heal, give and receive love. The world can use a lot of love right now, so another good idea is to set an intention moving forward to embody the wisdom of love in your actions moving forward as Venus moves into Aries hours after meeting the Sun & Moon this new Moon. In Aries, Venus is not comfortable with this Fire of this sign and we need to send her off with a good intention moving forward as it has potential to be a heightened emotional time in this lunar cycle with her in Aries the entire time.

The Pisces traits include being compassionate, romantic, artistic, intensely empathic and sensitive. They feel very deeply and at times struggle with the blues & can be prone to addictions because of it. It is hard for others at times to understand the Pisces person because of the depth of their feelings and their innate psychic abilities. They are the healer you will find at the exact right time without the fear of judgement. They are attuned to the true, deep rooted identity, subconscious, spiritual side and deepest wounds we are each meant to deal with in this lifetime. The Pisces can be a magical influence and with this New Moon we can optimize that magic by setting an intention to commit to some level of spiritual practice to empower ourselves. Meditation is a powerful tool, journaling, paying attention to your dreams, etc. All powerful tools to learn and hear from spirit to advance your growth and knowing at this time. Some of the shadows of the Pisces are dreaminess, the open accepting with lack of boundaries which can cause overwhelm, can be a sponge of the emotional energy around them, they can throw themselves into helping others at all costs, indecisiveness because of the innate flow to trust and if unbalanced, move blindly guided mostly by intuition rather than intellect; depression & addictions. The Pisces can, so to speak, unconsciously pick the scab off a deep wound in another while coming from their heart and sense of caring without conscious ill intent which usually results in a mishap.

Let’s see what the cards say we need to know to empower love as we move forward during a fiery emotional time of change into the unknown? The card I drew is from the Oracle of the 7 Energies by Collette Baron-Reid, “Divine Matrix”. The key concepts of this card from the book read: the realm of Spirit, the knowledge that we are all Divine beings, part of a tapestry, weaving our dreams into the fabric of reality; synchronicity, learning to trust the way things unfold. The book goes on to say, you are surrounded by a multitude of realities that were brought to life by others. These can surely affect you if you allow them to. But as your thread your luminous life force, your courageous dream is part of life, you’re being invited to be conscious of the pattern you are weaving. I say – I often hear people say, “I am not sure if this is what I am supposed to do, or feel that when something happens that takes a turn in their lives for the worse they have no control over it because at the time it is new and not fully understood. They confuse the signs presented to us by spirit or God as something they must just accept as though they have no choice. They let the confusion created by the message lead them into thinking they are supposed to do something they are unsure of and enter it blindly. Confusion means there is more to understand, or possibly the timing is not quite right. It can mean the message is meant to inspire you to understand more before accepting or acting. We are each powerful beings and the truth of your destiny lives in your heart no matter what the world presents to you at any given time. When you are feeling powerless in any dark time in your life it is because you are in an unknowing state. You are disconnected to your truth because your reality has shifted in some way or you are in a weakened state. You are the driver of your destiny and you empower those around you when you are following the truth in your heart. When you are in the powerless state of unknowing it is the time to plant the seed of believing you have the wisdom to see what it is you need to know for your next right action. To begin to dream of what you want and see the opportunities that will be created as a result of it. Each time you receive a gift of opportunity, let go of the wonder and turn within to your heart to feel whether it is true or not. Is it what you have dreamt of or is it a message to help you fine tune what your true dream is moving forward? The exact form may be something you had not quite grasped in your intentions. But resonate with it to see if it identifies with your motivations and talents. Only you know the truth of what lives in your heart, the purpose you came into this lifetime to live by knowing your interests, inclinations and talents. Stay on course for it will be for the good of all. Fear has no place in guiding you forward, only what you know is true in your heart and is rightful for the good off all. Sometimes action is just saying a daily prayer, creating a loving vision for the world, using the tools you have at the time to move forward is the start to fulfilling your truth and living without fear. It is necessary to empower the world around you to find resolve and create the opportunities that align with your truth.

Peace and Love, Susan

Full Moon in Leo

Hello from French Polynesia where I am presently working and playing! February 5 is the Full Moon in the Northern Hemisphere. The Sun is in Aquarius and the Moon is in Leo. Leo is about shining bright & being recognized, leadership, a natural regal disposition, empowering others through who they are and what they create. They need time in their lives to do the things they enjoy, they like to go big and like to be recognized for the good things they do. The shadow side of Leo can be: look at me, look at me, would rather lead than be told what to do and can be sensitive if they are ignored or don’t receive enough attention or love. The Leo needs to remember how good it feels when they create something that brings others joy and to allow others to receive recognition when they to create something noteworthy. Opposing to Leo is Aquarius this Full Moon. Aquarius wants us to go deeper to look at the responsibility of our actions and beliefs for the good of all without the need for recognition. So this Full Moon we find ourselves determining the balance between seriousness and joy, giving and receiving and looking at how we block our creative and authentic selves because of the lack of trust from past wounds that create drama or self-absorbed, self gain.

The influences this full moon have the potential for emotional reactivity, restlessness, asking you to have the courage to leave behind what no longer is for the good of our well being or the good of all. And to have courage to venture into something new if necessary. Things can be unpredictable and change fast with Uranus the great awakener involved. There is also great possibility for drama in the relationship realm. It is a good time to observe rather than engage when you disagree with something. Better to go inside yourself and try to understand what triggers the conflict within and process, learn and understand. Then change your belief or reactions moving forward for a better outcome. On a more positive note, this is also a time of fruition for the projects we have been working on the past year and a half.

Let’s see what the cards say about how we can release the blocks that keep us from being a balanced leader and bringing joy to others? I am using the “Wisdom of the Oracle” deck by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew is: “Co-Create.” The essential meaning of this card is: creativity, art, inspiration, fruition and manifestation. The card goes on to say: “You may not consider yourself to be a creative person, but in fact you are creating your reality every moment of every day via your thoughts, feelings, beliefs, intentions and actions. Yet you must consider you do so in partnership with spirit.” I say that once we learn to hear and feel our inspirations given to us by spirit, we are lead in a pure and authentic way to our truth, our purpose. When we set intentions each New Moon, what follows are these type of inspirations that lead us to aspire toward our dreams. If we are not of the vibrational level to receive what we want, we are lead into experiences that stimulate the opportunity for the changes within necessary to free us to be who we want to be. To benefit from the energy of the Full Moon that encourages us to release while being stimulated in a negative way. The least painful way is to hear, trust and act on the wise and inspired prompts from spirit as we journey through the choices presented and build trust to be led by divine inspiration rather than fear and security of what we know. It always comes down to knowing how your truth feels within and acting on your own truth. If we take the fork in the road toward change we “think” is the right way, instead of the heartfelt, perceived truthful direction, we often battle with our ego or are presented with facing blocks, lessons, or incidents until we let go and trust our inner truth. I always like to go back to when I made a clear, truth felt decision and remember how clear I felt when I feel in doubt midway through a new experience, or when I feel I have made a mistake. Not every incident is a bad decision, but can be a required lesson to awaken us to a new reality of truth within. So let go of the drama, judgement or wrongness and release what no longer serves your ability to move forward. Realize that you can do better next time with what you have learned in the experience. If you never release the cause of the incident once you understand it, you never gain any momentum toward truth. You remain attached to that reality and it keeps repeating itself until you decide to cut the cord and free yourself to a new way of approaching things. Remember that every moment you are creating your reality moving forward and holding on to the past only limits that movement. You can choose to build steps upward to your dreams or stairs down to your dungeon.

Raising Your Frequency….

Today I want to talk about energy. As I have mentioned before and I would suspect you already know that we are all made of energy and the vibration level of your energy plays a big part in your health and how you manifest in this world.

The highest vibrational energy we can put forth is love. If you want to do something to protect yourself and others against the wrongs of the world, take time out to send love to the things that cause you fear, worry or perceived threats. I incorporate it to my morning gratitude and prayer. But you can do it any time during the day when you think of it. Pay attention to your motives before you act. Adjust your emotions and perspective to love for the best outcomes.

I listened to a podcast this morning that was originally recorded in 2020 by The Essential Oil Revolution on the effects of EMF’s and how essential oils can help. They stated in the podcast several essential oils that have high energy frequencies that protect you against EMF’s. The highest noted to date is Northern Lights Black Spruce. Second is Rose oil. Others that fall a bit lower, but are good are Frankinsence, Fennel, Chamomile & Helichrysum. Fennel was specifically recommened by the host of the podcast for protection. These oils not only help to improve the effects EMF’s have on the body, but raise your energy/vibration level – giving yourself a boost so to speak. If you can use things to help raise your energy level higher, these oils have a positive affect on your health and psyche overall and help to keep you more focuses on positivity & the love motivational perspective.

You may remember from a previous blog, or not, that I have been put in a situation where I was concerned for my safety and I diffused the situation by just telling the person I loved them in a meaningful way. In that moment it truely stopped what I didn’t know how to. The lowest vibrational energy language is hate. So remember when you are reading or hearing something that goes against what you want or believe, send it love. If you decide to act toward disempowering something negative, take action with the perspective of love to guide you. If you are setting intentions for a long term goal, make sure your perspective is based on love. Try love and see what happens!

Lets see what the cards have to say about protecting yourself from harms in life. I drew the card: “The Land Between,” from the Oracle of the 7 Energies by Collette Baron-Reid. The essential meaning of this card is: being between worlds, learning to be okay while at the threshold of what was and what will be, a time of waiting and evolving, gray areas, something essential yet still in development, metamorphosis. The book also says, “The process in between worlds is where things get really interesting. You learn how to manage your fear, how to stay present in the now, how to see in the dark.” It talks about how to handle your lessons with grace because you can’t go any faster. That is what I am saying above & I believe mental fortitude is essential when hoping to change or shape our world from what it is to what we want it to be. That comes from motivations of love, grace, patience, curiosity, trust and humility. Avoid over reacting negatively to try to find resolve. Of course we get triggered from time to time. I try to vent my negative feelings when triggered so that it doesn’t accuse or disrupt others. I usually say as a preface, “Can I vent something to you?” When I was younger and having my monthly cycle, I’d tell my husband, “The twisted sister is out of the closet and running the show today, just so you know!” It added humor, disfused things and allowed him not to take my expressions so personally. Also remember, you are lowering your vibration by negative reactions, so you will be met back with the same kind of result. Therefore, it is important to transition the negative to a more productive perspective before acting. Ask your spirit guides to be there to help steer you toward love in all situations and then trust they will be there for you. I feel my spirit guides daily with my work and am so thankful they watch over me because they have prevented me making some mistakes that would have been very stressful. Learn to feel within yourself when something doesn’t seem right or when you feel like it is true. I have a few ways of experiencing it. When something isn’t right, I just feel in my gut that I need to double check what I just did or reconsider a decision. I don’t feel at peace about it & most often can’t reach a clear decision. When something feels right or true, I often get goosebumps or just feel silent and clear inside. Like there is no objection within me. I also see certain numbers when I look at the clock or just randomly in my environment that give me confirmation. I have had songs come over the radio, or been driving and glanced at a billboard sign that straight forward gave me a direct message. If you ask, you will recieve, but you need to put trust and faith behind your request and be open to recieve. Don’t ask for a specific outcome because spirit will decide on the form. Just trust your gut when it strikes a cord inside yourself as something important you need to hear or see. Lastly, the card above is saying when you are in the middle of change, it is an unknown state mentally & emotionally. It can help to understand where you are, have patience you will find your way and answers will come. Avoid falling off the cliff into negativity when you are learning, exploring and trying to understand your next right action. Get comfortable with the unknown place, the new thing you want to try so transition can become a more comfortable part of our daily life. It doesn’t have to be negative if you can give yourself some leanancy to learn and grow. Put faith in spirit and ask for help, however you need it. I have faith it will help.

Help me spread the love to raise our vibration against the harms in life that seem to be around us that we may feel like we have no control over. The solution is love! Take time each day to feel love and send it out into the universe. Lastly, you can make a list of the things that concern you each day and then before you go to bed, verbally tell spirit with the feeling of love in our heart “I send love to …… (the items on your list.”

Flowing and Healing….

I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving Holiday. I was fortunate to spend it with family and friends in Kansas and had a wonderful time in spite of one of our family getting COVID and exposing most everyone the night before Thanksgiving. It limited a few family members who weren’t exposed from joining us according to their comfort level & of course the COVID positive person didn’t join. So that was disappointing, but didn’t affect us from carrying on and having a great day together. In the end, none of us got sick, including my 94 yr. old mother. I am so grateful in spite of our different personalities, we can get together and make fun the objective. I am also so grateful for my lifelong friends I got to spend cherished time with. I only regret my husband was not able to join me, due to issues at our house that had to be tended to!

Before I left Kansas to return home, my lower back went out. It was a challenge to fly back to CA solo, but I managed with the help of some good people willing to assist & just meeting the right person at the right time. At my connection in Denver, in spite of my pain, I trudged to a coffee bar for a hot drink and the woman ahead of me in line had several extra coupons expiring that day, so she gleefully gifted me and several other travelers to a free tea or coffee. Which mad that process a whole lot easier and of course pleasant receiving such a gift! When life nearly disables you, it reminds you if you follow your heart and do only what is important you have all that you need and can receive what you truly want. I was so grateful for it all and glad to make it home to my husband and dogs where I could rest and begin healing.

When I returned home, I dug into a couple healing books (“Heal your Body” by Louise L. Hay & “Message From the Body” by Michael J. Lincoln, PH.D.) to see how I might have contributed to this injury with my thoughts and feelings. These books illustrate negative mental & emotional patterns associated with injury and illness. “Heal Your Body” also gives positive affirmations for assistance in change. From the book, I acknowledged the negative patterns & wrote down the positive affirmations to begin to think differently. Then I started to pay attention within, my thoughts and my outward attitude. In the end, I concluded I just needed to flow, let go of disagreement, judgement & discerning thoughts and feelings. Just flow. It helped me to become conscious of how I lock myself inside and create limitations & control. It pushed me to ask for help, relax/rest, allowing myself to heal, which was equally challenging as I saw my husband be left with all the responsibility. But I forced myself to flow and to ask for help when needed and not over do it. The interesting thing about an injury is when you get off track, the pain reminds you to get back into flow. I was also gifted with a very clear dream one evening where I met up with this psychic who shared me how I tend to choose the lesser of what I really want when given choices or in a fork in the road. When I woke up, I drew an Oracle Card – “Make a Choice!” Which also reminded me, when I don’t know, ask Spirit to help guide me. Gave me lots to think and pay attention to as I flowed. I am at a time in my life where change is sitting in front of me unfolding. What I am unclear of, I will turn over to spirit & trust I will find my answers and know my right actions.

When going into a more observational and listening mode, you learn so much about how you react to every day life. How you see things, what you think and feel about it, how you motivate your yourself and what you tell yourself and others. We often are so busy and on the go, we don’t stop to really notice the mental and emotional patterns we carry on a daily basis. If you are in a leadership role in any aspect of your life, you are usually forced to output more then observe and resonate in silence. I can tell you that being quiet and kind is a great exercise to build into your life on a regular basis. It can teach you so much about how you treat yourself and others. Things you don’t even realize you do because of the rote attachment to your perspective and relationships. Try it for an hour a day for a week and see what you learn about yourself and others. Try to involve others in the problem solving, information gather before decisions and gather more participation to see what unfolds.

Let’s see what the cards say: My question is: “What is it we need to know about changing our thought and emotions in relationships with people and life for better health?” I drew a card from the “Enchanted Map” by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew was “Education” in protection mode (upside down.) The decks book tells us, “Stubbornness and the desire to know it all and be right no matter what, will not get you what you want. Or could it be you are afraid to be seen as someone who knows less than you are supposed to? Or are you flying by the seat of your pants skimming, hoping no one will notice? A strident lust for certainty will never bring you the wisdom you seek. Life is filled with lessons, some bitter, some sweet.” I say – the gift of flow allows us to follow the mystery of our intuition and heart. It keeps life more in the adventure state & allows for magic & surprises. If you are silent and give yourself time to see the full picture before interacting you will gain more wisdom and your response will often be for the good of all instead of motivated by competitiveness or the ego. Magic can unfold and something new can occur between you and others if you are patient and tuned into your motivation before you speak or act. Sometimes it is good to be the silent one and others times it is good to be involved. Listen to your heart when is the right time for either. After all, for us to learn it helps to know when is the right time to be supportive, motivate others, passive or act. During this holiday season, is a good time to get in touch with your true role at social gatherings. Set your intentions every day & have fun exercising wisdom for the good of all!

It’s the New Moon in Sagittarius

Wednesday, November 23 in the Northern Hemisphere is the New Moon in Sagittarius. Sagittarius is the half human, half horse archetype with the bow and arrow known for hitting it’s target with precision. It is considered the bridge between the earth & the spiritual world or heavens, about abundance in all forms, about everything that is expansive, a tendency toward over indulgence and influences to explore the off the beaten track path. As you come out of the Scorpio Lunar cycle of death & rebirth this past lunar cycle which sent us deep into our truth of self for lessons & healings, it is a good time to step forward as your changed self. This new moon comes with powerful influences to now be who you intend to be as a result of what you have just learned. Shed the old shell to become the revised self closer to living your authentic truth of self. If your growth put you in grief last cycle, Sagittarius can assist in how to process your feelings in a lighter way & feel a sense of expanded purpose of what you are learning. It is a perfect time to move into another direction, feel joyous/enthusiastic, party, but be careful not to overindulge.

This lunar cycle comes with very powerful influences to manifest what it is your heart desires. The planets are aligned in a way to deliver what it is you intend for as you set your New Moon intentions. In fact, astrologers say, “go big or go home!” But with Mercury & Venus alignments, be careful to ensure your mind and heart are in agreement with your desires or you will end up sending yourself off into another direction of which you are not intending. It will deliver your energy & motivations based on what you think and feel. When you plant the seeds out of alignment with your true intentions, the results may not be what you dreamed of. As Dr.Michael Lennox stated “know what you feel & feel what you know,” in other words – stick to that formula. Take advantage of setting intention along the lines of travel, education, expansion of all sorts – including structure & manifestation of any desires you have. Sagittarius is the spiritual seeking sign, so you can also set intentions of that sort. Just remember to pick intentions that your mind and heart are in alignment with. If you are not worthy of what you desire, it will challenge what you receive. Or if you are trying to accomplish something you really are not emotionally behind, it won’t work out.

Lastly, know that these intentions can take some time to manifest, so be patient and also be prepared for when they do, because they could materialize fast and furious, so be prepared. Stay open-hearted and be open to try something new. When you intend it is more important to surrender to the form of what materializes than to expect something specific. The universe knows what you need to accomplish what you want, so be open. It is equally important to be grateful for what arrives.
After you set your intentions, set them in motion by feeling & experiencing who you will be, visualize and simulate the part. Also feel the gratefulness of receiving it in advance.

Let’s see what the cards say & ask: How do I manifest what is in my heart and mind moving me into the future successfully? I drew a card from “The Shaman’s Dream” by Alberto Villoldo & Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew was “The Perfect Storm.” The essential meaning is: The courage to step into life. “I say” this card sends a warning that if you are too far off course from what is true in your heart and mind, you may get caught up in the gusts and swept away, off course from your true path, as the power of this manifestation can be fast & turbulent. You don’t want to get swept away from the core of what is important to your heart, chasing someone else’s dream. Heed moving in the direction of what others may think or suggest for their approval, but be open to feel in your heart if the messages that come are true to your desires. Act on that which you feel alignment in your thoughts & heart. If you follow something you desire but don’t believe you can do it, you will be sidelined into something you are not ready to have or not want. But if you feel confident about a newly desired manifestation, follow it with curiosity, explore it, express gratefulness and celebrate the victory when it unfolds. For you have intended & manifested what is true to your heart and mind with patience.

The Truth Eludes Us!

I have not had time to write lately and with the holiday’s upon us, life will only get busier. But I hope to get some blogs up without missing too much time.

This past weekend, I went to bed knowing it was Saturday and somehow woke up believing it was Monday! So first thing I checked my work e-mail and then proceeded with my morning meditation and exercise routine. Before I got dressed for the day I checked my personal e-mail and read my Daily Astro Forecast from Micheal Lennox, Astrologer. The title included the date, November 13 & in the content it read “on this Sunday.” I thought, hmmm, I must have the wrong daily forecast, justifying it in my mind, because he sends them a day early due to membership around the globe. I checked the calendar date & it was the 13th, but I didn’t bother to check the day of the week. Therefore believing I was right, I dismissed it thinking he had a typo. Holy cow – self-denial of the truth! Still dismissing it was Sunday even after that because with all my being, I believed it was Monday & I was set on that. Next I went into the kitchen and my husband expressed his dismay that his NFL team was not going to be televised today, me knowing his team played on Sunday. It was then I looked out the window and said to myself, “is it Sunday?” My mind was blank and I couldn’t connect with justification of how this could be Sunday! I felt blank and somewhat disconnected in every way, it was a bit eery.

Although this is a trivial example at best, it reminds me of how we can be misled in life about truth and how far we go before we are faced to recognize it & if we will allow ourselves to recognize it. Dr. Robert Malone says, “Humans perceive and interpret the world by comparing the information which they receive through their senses to internal models of reality. Our conscious mind does not diretly know reality. It holds a model of what it believes to be true & then compares incoming information to this.” If you are mindful of your spiritual guides, I believe life presents us with information to try to steer us toward the truth when we are off course. But if we just look through the tunnel at what we know and believe, we miss the opportunity to steer back on course to truth, as I did above. At some point, life will blatantly come at us to wake us up if we keep down the wrong path. Thankfully my husband said this to me, because I most likely would have gone to work and who knows how much of my day off I would have missed before I figured it out!

In light of this, what I did do right however, was that I accepted the truth once it no longer could escape me, shifted my reality and went about my day. What we often do is maybe worry something is wrong with ourselves or think negative, critical thoughts toward ourselves about how wrong we were, etc. Take up more of our day creating negativity within ourselves. The truth is, I have been traveling, overloaded at work, not sleeping well & was in process of fighting off a virus before it got ahold of me. Some times we are just off kilter, our energy is low and we get confused.

I have been working very hard the past couple of weeks on flowing with my heart & intuition. Hearing my inner self, but trying to be mindful of the task at hand and accepting what feels right and following it. Letting thoughts or emotions enter into my consciousness, acknowledging it and letting it pass through my mind without fixating. This morning was a longer road to get there, but because I trust that I will find truth in my actions, the truth came before I got too far down we the road. We all have our moments and we need to just course correct at times when we realize we have been lead astray either by ourself or others. Though it can be hard at times to admit we are wrong, it is our path to self-truth and healing. There are a lot of ways we can each want to deny the truth, we all have our thresholds of humility or need to be right. But thankfully life will keep presenting the truth to us as long as we are willing to recognize it and not resist it to the death of ourselves. So it is my hope that if someone is in this position, they will realize that healing comes from facing mistakes and righting wrongs. We also need to show compassion for those that course correct once they face it & find healing. I always believe that seeking forgiveness & if necessary, justice is reached, it is important to move on and heal. Even if you have fallen victim that led to your pain. Let it go and move on.

If you have emotional patterns that cause you pain and you are stuck in it, there are things you can do. I for one have suffered from anxiety on occasion. Sometimes it is perceived unknowns, but others times it is my history. When you feel like you have processed & acknowledge the events that lead to the anxiety, what I have found is the need to just stop the thought/emotional patterns when they start and replace them with how you want to feel instead. Conscious shifting of the mind and emotions. I have reached a point where I just have to make a choice to believe something else or otherwise I am trapped in my anxiety because I can’t understand what it means. It can then have no power over me and I find relief. As long as it feels true in our hearts – the mind and emotions can let go. Otherwise, our mind and emotions will take us down a hurtful path if we hang on to the pain. It is also a great time to reach out to trusted friends or a resource and share your dilemna for insight. It does no good to sink deeper into the pain feeling helpless or to beat yourself up and allow yourself to make yourself sick or feel pain.

Let’s see what the cards say is important when facing our truth and righting our wrongs. I drew a card from the “Oracle of the 7 Energies” by Collette Baron-Reid. The card I drew is “The Land Between”. The essential meaning is being between worlds, learning to be okay while at the threshold of what was and what will be, a time of waiting and evolving, gray areas, something essential yet still in development, metamorphosis. “I say” – this is a place of transition in your spiritual path. When you set intentions to change your life, you enter into a time in life where what you know is not what you desire. The discomfort of transition is a time where you have to allow yourself to feel your way through the dark, so to speak. You have to be open to stutter step, possibly bounce off a wall to learn and understand with grace. Let go of protecting yourself from humility and understand learning is stumbling at times. We usually see this as a difficult time, as being in the unknown is sometimes uncomfortable. But when you break the threshold and see the path and the resources of your goal, it becomes exciting. It is important to understand the process and not get lost in the journey. Because once you have attained the change, every step to enlightenment will be an exciting story to share. If we can learn to grow comfortable in exploring the unknown, the new to find our answers, we can swerve on our path, maybe avoid the extra weight we carry as we set out on our journey to the new reality. But understand, no matter how deep your go before you get to where you want to go has everything to do with how tightly you hold on to what is familiar. The need to know the end result or why your life was disrupted in the first place is not the path forward. Hear these concerns, but stay focused on the goal and seeing what is in front of you. Pay attention to the information that guides you & be open to new information and methods. Remember, the future is being created by what you are doing now. Change can be easier if we allow ourself to flow and trust our guidance. To get in better touch with our guidance requires practicing gratitude for what we have, being mindful of our actions and focus. Letting the negative pass through our minds and emotions so we can keep our energy up to meet spirit half way to connect & heal. Practice belief in having enough!

Peace & Love, Susan
