Repeating Dreams & the Gifted Awakening…

For the past couple years I have been having these repetitive dreams my husband divorces me. I could never understand what my subconscious message was & always felt a little fearful the dream might come true. In my heart I knew it was not true, but it did motivate me to evaluate who I was in my marriage & what I could do better. During this process, it came to light that my husband was feeling fear of me leaving him, how ironic! (Inner world=outer world). At this stage, I was still not understanding the deeper meaning of the dream. However, through the self-evaluation I have come to learn to open myself to love and admiration more. To be kinder and handle things with more grace, but still acknowledging things that make me angry or frustrated without less acting out. I have become more aware of my feelings of pushing people away & even my dogs away when they are too nice to me or show me pure love. Recognizing the ways I need to find balance in accepting the goodness in my life.

On the Eve of the Summer Solstice my dream reoccurred, but shifted a bit. I dreamt I was married to this man, who in real life I have never met & we were living in a house with lots of clutter, in real life I don’t live in much clutter. In the dream I told him I realized he didn’t really love me. His look back at me told me it was true. We then decided for the upcoming holiday, (in the dream it was Thanksgiving) he would spend it with his family & I would stay home. He needed separation. Next I saw him drive off with his family without me, they were all so happy and it left me with a familiar, yet horrible feeling I was unable to pinpoint in the dream. I felt awful being home alone in the clutter and was concerned of what my present day husband (conscious twist) would think of me living in all this clutter. I was embarrassed & fearing judgement. The rest of the dream I do not remember in such great detail, but it entailed me driving somewhere north (the future) in anticipation of getting this job and a new place to live. Someone referred me to this job of which I felt needy & overdependent to get, because I was in survival mode and unemployed. All day I couldn’t pinpoint the feeling I felt seeing my husband (the dream husband) driving off with his family. That evening, as I lay in bed trying to relief some neck & shoulder pain with massage & pressure, I started to think about how I should write about ancestral healing & finding your roots. Going inward to hear spirit as I put pressure on my pain points, I resonated with the feeling in my dream I couldn’t define, it was rejection. My dream was symbolic (the unknown husband/cluttered house) & it was showing me I had “unconscious rejection” (not being able to define the feeling in the dream.) It was illustrating how my inner rejection was playing out in my outer world unconsciously, leaving me a victim. Because I was not conscious of the feeling of rejection, it leads me to believe the rejection is deeply rooted. The second part of the dream illustrates what I typically do when I am at a starting over point. Decide to move on from the rejection feeling helpless & hoping someone will come rescue me. It is definitely my go to in that moment of “Oh no, I need to start over, how do I do that?” “How will I survive?” At some point, I take time to pause and put my faith in spirit & begin to define what I want moving forward, I realize I have the ability to rescue myself and I have tools to make my next move. I ask that what I need to empower my path be sent & that it be for the good of all. But if I don’t ever come round to empowerment, this leads me to more rejection, fear of failure & desperate feelings of fear to survive. I end up extending myself to others in a needy, overly dependent state of motivation. I attract people who over extend themselves and develop co-dependency. Not the most productive route & is usually painful until I understand the need to change course.

The second dream has illustrated the influences of the potential for deep healing from this past Full Moon (the unconscious). The web I have been unweaving the past couple years consciously, has shown itself as there is more to discover on an unconscious level. So in a meditative state, I started to venture back how early I remember rejection in my life. The last incident I remember was at a young age. My oldest sister told me was when I was born, my dad wanted a boy. They already had 3 girls & one boy & my dad wanted another boy, but it was not meant to be as here I was, born a girl. She said he came home from the hospital and said “It’s another girl”, with disappointment. Growing up I never felt the disappointment of that from them & my parents gave me a great life with pretty normal trivia here and there. But the truth is, when I entered this earth I was greeted with some level of rejection & disappointment of who I was. This was in my unconscious from a very young age & possibly I came into this life with this karmic burden of needing healing of rejection. Or perhaps I carry ancestral rejection, things I now have to dig deeper to see if they exist.

I wanted to share a few things about myself that I recognize now as unconscious influences of this rejection. At a young age, I always wished I was a boy. I liked being with my dad and brother more than having to do domestic stuff with my mom & sisters. I did play with Barbie dolls & had other dolls in which I enjoyed, but my best friends were the neighborhood boys and I much more preferred playing with them. As I grew older, I dressed like a boy and was considered a tomboy. I actually got pulled from the women’s restroom once at my brother’s football game by a police officer who told me, “Hey buddy, your bathroom is over there!” That’s how committed I was to my tomboy! This however all stopped when I reached my adolescents and started crushing on boys. I was very shy and struggled to make my crushes known in fear I would be rejected & the power of shy controlled me. Even when a boy I liked would express to me they felt the same way, I was too shy to look at them or engage with them. I do believe shyness can be a protective mechanism until there is balance in the moment & the knowledge of how to proceed. But on the other hand, to protect yourself & never try, doesn’t allow for growing and learning. We have to find balance in risk taking. At this young age, my shy behavior would give the message I was not reciprocating the interest & I would lose the boy by rejecting him & then I was hurt and rejected as well. This pattern repeated itself many times & I still use shyness as a protective mechanism in certain situations in my life. But I like to think I have grown to a more balanced use of it.

In conclusion of my dreams, the past couple years I have been working on being more authentic to my true self. Because of the dreams, I see that one of my blocks keeping me from attaining authenticity is rejection, both conscious & unconscious. And I now know that it is deeply rooted and I have more to discover as I heal this wound. I am grateful for this “Gifted Truth” and will continue to set intentions to “Inspire Blossoms” – aka, growth & healing. The New Moon is next week, so I know what will be included in my intention setting. I am so grateful for my dreams and the influences of this past Full Moon to help me uncover this lesson. Thank you to spirit and the universe for your guidance and inspirations!

With that said, lets draw a card to see what spirit has to say to us about rejection and what it is we need to know for our highest good! I drew from the Enchanted Map deck by Collette Baron-Reid the card “Intentions” in protection (upside down). After I drew the card, I had self-doubt it was the right card, so I drew another from my Wisdom of the Oracle deck, also by Collette. I drew “Thinker” in protection. The message from “Thinker” basically said to give my mind a rest and to flow with spirit & trust spirit has a the guidance & message if I’ll trust. Okay, so let go of the doubt of the 1st card and go with it. But to remember not to overthink or be motivated to act on doubt. Unless you are drawing an Oracle Card which will get you back on track, ha! Back to the “Intention” card regarding what we need to hear about rejection. The essential meaning of the card is “Deliberate, clear intentions have the power to change your world.” Intuitively I feel this card is saying to recognize the pain rejection has brought to your life. Identify your motives that have led you to rejection, how you have felt when you made the decisions that resulted in rejection. Rest, meditate and take the time to be clear on your motives before acting & moving forward with your goals & solutions. Trust the truth in your heart and be brave, but clear of your perspective before proceeding. Don’t act blindly or blast your way forward. Have a plan, identify what wounds or feelings come up in the thought of proceeding and recognize how they influence your actions forward. Is this conclusion what is really in your heart? Recognize there may be the need to do some healing work before action toward the final goal. Find a balanced emotional & intellectual starting point that is guided by the inspiration of spirit and the love in your heart and begin there. When we are learning and growing, it requires putting ourselves out there blindly to some degree and gives us the opportunity to change course and refine our strategy. Don’t walk off a cliff and suffer the unexpected consequences when you have the opportunity to discover the passion and truth in your heart that talks to you as you begin forward through the learning process. Guiding you to what is your truth. What this card is saying, is evaluate to what degree you are willing to stir the pot and affect others in the process. Remember every action has a reaction. Be as clear as you can on your motives and proceed with good intentions as you learn and grow. Most importantly, be authentic to yourself with the wish to be of service to others in a loving way. With this effort, the universe will guide and support you in return as you open yourself to the cues and messages of guidance while learning and attaining successfully. Remember that your answers may not always come from what you expect. Spirit will give you what you need & as long as it feels right in your heart, learn to trust it is the right path. Also remember, rejection doesn’t have to be devastating. It can just be a cue to change course when you are in touch with your highest good.

Solstice Day!

Today is the Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere, the longest day of the year when the Sun is in the highest point in the sky. Did you know in Hawaii, at some point today, they literally have no shadow, just pure sunshine beaming down and around them! Today also signifies the beginning of summer, new beginnings & change. Go soak up some sun & nourish your soul!

For our friends on the Southern Hemisphere, it is the Winter Solstice. It is the shortest day of sunlight of the year. It is a great time to reflect on this past year and decide moving forward what you would like to change. This requires inward reflection & rest as you prepare for the new momentum for what your new dreams moving forward are. Remember to take time to get quiet & listen to hear spirit!

Either way, with the planetary/zodiac influences, it is a great time to add energy to the intentions you set during the last New Moon & put some energy into moving forward. We are supported with the courage necessary to follow those intentions rising inside ourselves and given the fire to accomplish them. Do realize the movement may not come instantly, but right actions move you closer to receiving. Given that, go into your heart and find authenticity with your true self and for the good of others. This is a time of attraction. Dream of what you want & know it is a great time to manifest moving to the end of the year. Be patient as not everything happens instantly! It is also a time of self-care, nurturance & preparing to move out into the world more. There is energy to support our intellect & ideas with less emotion.

In closing, let’s draw a card to see what spirit wants us to know about Solstice! I drew “Peaks of Joy!” The essential meaning is “Your life is filled with happiness, so share it with others!” This card is telling us this is a time to manifest things that make the world a better place. A time to share the joy you have accomplished with others to lift them up with you. Always be grateful for every gift as gratitude is the fuel of abundance.

Have a wonderful summer or winter, wherever you reside!

It’s the Full Moon!

After experiencing an unusual occurrence, most of us have said “We’ll it is a full moon!” & equated it to the reason for our experience. Blame it on the moon so to speak! The full moon, our unconscious is about letting go of what no longer works, changing course, thinking differently, digging into our issues. So yes, the unexpected can happen! I like to look at the full moon as being connected to the coat tails of the intentions we set previously during the new moon. When setting intentions, we call upon the universe to set our goals into action and things start to happen in our life. We are given inspirations to help us accomplish our intentions or goals. With the full moon, it magnifies what is standing in the way of accomplishing those goals or intentions. Urging us to look at the shadow work necessary to reach our goals.

When we add the astrological and planetary influences of each lunar cycle, we can benefit greatly with the knowledge of what their influences represent, what energies they set in motion and how we are affected. At the full moon, the universe exemplifies our life experiences to keep moving toward accomplishing those intentions. When you combine your intention setting at the new moon with the releasing at full moon, it is a great way to stay focused on your life’s growth.

This Full Moon finds the Sun, our conscious awareness, in Gemini & the Full Moon, our unconscious, in Sagittarius. “These are complimentary astrological signs, even though they are polar opposites, both love philosophy, adventure & travel” as stated by Astrologer, Dr. Michael Lennox. Sagittarius is about the higher spiritual truths, celebration, abundance where Gemini is more about ideas, thoughts & communication (listening/talking). This Full Moon magnifies the energy toward releasing old thoughts in favor of spiritual truths & experiences, giving us the opportunity to raise our perception of the world. In remembering we are all connected and our outer world is a reflection of our inner world should help to understand this concept. Coming off the New Moon, you should have learned better communication starting with becoming a better listener which often times provides a broader perspective of how you see things. If you are quiet enough, you learn to hear from spirit to enhance that perspective.

The last thing I’ll say before we draw a card is, presently there are 3 personal planets in their ruling signs which aligns the mind, body & heart in a very powerful, clear and grounded way. There is great potential for well supported healing by going within or acknowledging what no longer works your life. Time to let go! This is a great time to create what you want more of, to release what is keeping you from your abundance in all areas of your life! Change your mind and look to see what great gifts you find!

Lets ask the universe what we all need to release to attain a full & true abundant life? The card I drew was “Education” in protection mode. The essential meaning for this card is “Life is filled with lessons, be teachable.” With it being in protection, there is a need to learn to feel comfortable with not knowing. Making sure you are educated before acting. Avoid stubbornness or acting out of humility when feeling vulnerable. Accept there is more to be learned, have patience. The people in our lives are gifts and the knowledge they have is something to be grateful for. It is wonderful to be admired for knowledge, but it is of equivalent stature to show grace toward others when they know more than you do. Be open to hear what others say and wait to act until you have sufficient information. The saying “fake it until you make it” doesn’t encourage you to act like you are an authority when indeed you are not. But rather to go with the flow while believing you are who you want to become. Trust spirit will guide you to whatever knowledge you need to succeed. Curiosity is a great tool to maneuver yourself from acting foolishly when you need more information, but feel compelled to act. It is okay to admit you don’t know & to recognize it is even better. Remember to pay attention to your motives that steer you away from good judgement. Find grace in your shortcomings and seek empowerment to find abundance! Let go of attachments that steer you away from believing unexpected changes are the path to abundance. Spirit is waiting with infinite knowledge just for you and it can come in many forms. Be open to receive!

Thank you spirit for guiding me!

Time to let go!

As we lead up to the Full Moon on Tuesday, there is alot going on with expansion of the mind and heart. A time to reflect on what you need to let go of or finish up what you started. With Uranus in the mix, anything is possible, so expect the unexpected. There were similar planet gatherings the first week of March of 2020 – and we all remember that! So there is potential for big change, so take this opportunity recognize the things you are holding on to that no longer serve you, try to take the higher road rather than get sucked into destructive actions, non-action or repeating what no longer is authentic to you.

Lets ask the cards what it is we all need to hear to navigate toward Tuesday’s Full Moon. The card I drew was “No Place Like Home” from the Wisdom of the Oracle Deck. The essential meaning of this card is about authenticity, coming home to yourself, being in a place that fits, being comfortable in your own skin. My intuitive self says this is what we have been talking about in the past blogs. It is about being who you really are in your heart and surrounding yourself with a life reflective of your true self in a way that benefits others. When the mind is connected to the heart, you operate in harmony with the opportunities that surround you. You have the wisdom to sort through what is right for your life moving forward, enabling you to let go of what no longer fits. Right now is a time connect more authentically with your heart and mind. That can bring endings and letting go of what you have held close to you, but have known it no longer fits your life moving forward. Or maybe you have already let go and are in the middle of hurt right now & it is time to look in the mirror and be honest about what drove you to make the change, that desire that wasn’t satisfied in the past and let it unfold to express itself with confidence and trust that good things are ahead. Remember abundance flouishes with you water the garden of truth!

Triggers & Trust

With everything that is going on in the world, we have a tendency to long for the past & fear the future. It puts us in a frump, feeling helpless, full of anxiety, feeling like there is no solution or angry and hateful. It is times like these that we need to turn to our tools that give us hope or get us back into a hopeful mindset and guide us toward focusing on the here and now. Things that give perspective of our capabilities, the authentic self. Because the most powerful movement in life is to look at the now and what we each can do to find truth in it. Tools may be Oracle Cards, your scripture, meditation, prayer, a good book you are reading, music, a trusted friend, your favorite movie or therapist. Supportive tools, motivate change in mindset. Things that bring inspiration and/or guidance to a more positive state. It is important to build trust in spirit and to get quiet so spiritual guidance can be heard. Using these tools can help find a good balanced energy and tap into more positive resources to help maintain it. Find something to be grateful for because this helps move toward hope & inspiration. Even in the deepest, darkest moments in life, gratitude can shift perspective. Latch on to something that will move toward positive, inspiring/healing motivation.

To begin to move out of these cycles, I find it important to self-reflect. Recognize what triggers negative responses or feelings in each of us. Whether it is past trauma of varying degrees or impairment. When I used to work in Social Services, we worked with individuals that were dual diagnosed. Many of them were unable to talk due to their disabilities. Some of the individuals would get so frustrated they would bang their head on the cement floor. In working with a psychologist, we set up communication systems for them to communicate their needs & it reduced the crisis behaviors for some individuals from daily to yearly or longer. Knowing what sets the crisis in motion and being able to recognize it, allows for a solution. Thus the need to identify triggers to begin a way to change course in an empowered way preventing slipping into an extreme. It is at what point the trigger is identified we are able to navigate from going too deeply into the wound. Recognizing the trigger empowers the ability to change the circumstance and change course. Triggers can also be positive. Things that make us happy and motivate us toward healthy choices. I consider those a gift from spirit to help shift or maintain a healthier perspective. I can remember as a child being unhappy about something my mom wouldn’t let me do and she would try to cheer me up. It would make me mad & I would resist. But she was persistent and would eventually make me laugh. She could shift my attention and I would move beyond the negative into a positive perspective. The shifting of focus and when we recognize the trigger go hand in hand. Victims of unhealed trauma can be triggered my old memories of the past that are no longer relevant to the present. I have read trauma of the past can prevent you from living in the present. It causes misperception of reality and can send you into fight or flight based on altered, outdated memories & their consequences. Old memories that don’t exist in the present can suddenly be seen as your reality and cause false reactions unnecessarily. It is so important to be honest with yourself and reach out for the help you need to heal your traumas so you can build a better life forward and not continue in the illusion of your damaged past.  Repeating patterns are connected to what you believe to be true. Begin building trust in your resources so you can heal. A good start is to ask for help & guidance.

Let’s close this blog with an Oracle Card: I drew “Regeneration” in protection – meaning the card is upside down. Regeneration is essentially about rebirth, second chances & opportunities. In protection it is telling us that it is time to let go of what is not working or dragging you down. To face what you know is true, don’t be motivated to act by things you feel are out of your control or keep you safe in a hiding place. Get grounded, build a foundation of hope, truth & confidence before acting. To change, create & believe what you want is possible & believe it. Remember motivation moves us to take action and move forward in life by problem solving and creativity. Conscious motivation is of the utmost importance. Get clear on your authenticity & truth! It is time to let go & move forward when you have formulated a belief in yourself and a more positive way to motivate through the world, day by day, minute by minute. Reach out to learn something new, create experiences beyond your comfort zone, maintain a clear state of mind. Education expands your awareness and gives spirit a chance to teach. Trust in your relationship with spirit to deliver and guide you toward your intentions. There is always hope if you focus on it. Believe in your authentic self because it is the gift you were meant to bring to the world.

Negative vs. Love

It has been a busy week & I wanted to put something out today until I can get my next blog finalized, so I decided to draw a card and share some intuitive insight. I am drawn to ask the Oracle Cards what it is we all need to hear today for our highest good? The card I drew is “The Grand Symphony.” The cards overall meaning is about being a part of the whole, seeing the interconnectedness, knowing that everything you do has a consequence, unity consciousness.

This really coincides with the blog I was composing about the anger and frustration I have been feeling this week. Last night was the peak and I just was angry at everything, I felt awful. It was at that point where there was nothing to do but to continue angry or try to transition the feelings. How I usually get myself out of a negative place is to start by sending love to everyone and everything in my environment to transition my mind and emotions to restore balance within. I think this card says it beautifully & reinforces the concept of ”we are all one.” It takes many instruments to form beautiful music. Although in a physical sense we are individual beings, but to be successful we need to play our part in the whole to thrive. Whatever energy we put out to the universe is what we create around us. It extends itself to empower & manifest our world. If you are feeling irritated, then the world responds to empower your irritation back to you to keep the momentum going. But if you begin to feel love, you feel a softness begin to overcome you and a more rational state begins to form and you start thinking of solutions. Doing things that make you feel better and have a positive affect. During the pandemic, I was learning a lot of stuff that I had been asleep at the wheel about in life. It was incredibly frustrating, scary and I felt powerless. I was bleeding this negativity all over my world. I created a scenario where a person got very angry back at me & I felt at that moment that if I didn’t change the course of this trajectory this incident wasn’t going to end well. I felt threatened & unsafe. What came over me when I asked for help from spirit in that moment was to just send love. So I started to tell that person I loved them, over and over again. Much to my surprise the anger dissipated, the incident calmed and we were able to find balance. Ever since, I have found when I am in an unbalanced state, the thing to do is to send love & it creates love within. We are all made of energy, so it is no surprise what we put into the world is what we get back. Being conscious of how you approach things, the energy behind what you say and do motivates your world, empowers and emboldens the energy. So my advice today is to send love to the things you dislike, disagree with or even the people who hold power over you that you don’t like. Energize them with love and see if it brings balance to your situation. It all starts with each of us and we can make our world better by being conscious of what we offer to the world through our thoughts and actions. Take time each day to send love to your challenges and see if you notice changes.

I will end with a visualization I do every night before I go to sleep. I see a red heart above the world. The red heart tips over and spills white light on the earth causing it to glow filled with this white light. I ask the white light to send love and truth to the people of the world to help them feel love and see truth. I ask for healing and justice to the wrong doings of the world. I visualize people circling the earth holding hands with hearts glowing in their chest. I ask to be guided to bring love and truth to the world for the good of all. With that, I hope you can come up with an idea that will extend goodness from your own truth and what you see can make this world a better place.

New Moon & Setting Intentions

I like to follow a few Astrologers to understand the energy influences happening on a daily basis that affect my life. It helps me understand what I am feeling & what is going on in the world. The various phases of the Moon are particularly influential on us all & I am excited to be sharing with you the New Moon & Full Moon phases each month. I hope it will help you move through life more empowered.

This Monday, May 30 at 4:30am PDT is the darkest phase of the New Moon in Gemini. The Moon began its cross over into Gemini this Sunday morning putting it in the same sign as the Sun. When the Moon is at its darkest point, it’s a great time to set intentions of what you hope to accomplish in accordance to the New Moon influences. With each phase, we experience different energies from the Universe that affect how we feel, think & act. Becoming aware, allows us to benefit more fully to improve our lives. Rather than being influenced and not know why things are happening around you. Together we can work to navigate toward a better you. It is also good to consider a personal reading if you want to dig a little deeper in a more personal sense. Or use your own Oracle Cards or supportive tools to explore what can help you navigate this information.

Without going in to all the zodiac & planetary signs involved in this New Moon, in a nutshell, the Moon (your unconscious, emotions) & Sun (your conscious, ego/personality) in Gemini (thoughts, ideas & expressions) provides influences of it being a great time to connect with others, create community & express & gather ideas. At the time of each New Moon, it is when we set intentions to create personal goals for growth and accomplishment. This new moon supports energies to start taking action on all those ideas we have been dreaming about or to act on the learned lessons we have been working so hard to overcome. It is a time to share your dreams with the world, blog, journal & try new things. However, if you are the type of person who overthinks, are indecisive, get scattered or fall into chaos, it is most important to set your intentions or goals to include clarity, decisiveness & ask to be guided for support in these areas. According to Astrologer Dr. Michael Lennox, this energy to communicate & create through action will support us through the end of the year. It will not happen quickly, so you need to understand patience. He says to also remember, communication is 50 % talking and 50% listening, which do you need to improve?

In setting intentions, we are writing down (I use my journal so I can reflect back), what it is we want & stating it as if we are it now, our end result. We are putting requests to the universe to be guided by spirit toward accomplishing & growing. A couple examples of my intentions for the New Moon/Gemini influence would be: “I am writing blog entries that bring truth to many people and enable them to live their truth in their daily lives.” “I am guided to stay focused and to listen intently to communicate effectively.”  After we have set our intentions, our life gets set into motion toward these dreams and wishes. The Universe begins to provide you with tools & lessons to guide you toward what you want or to become. It is not about getting that shiny new car, but it is about empowering yourself to accomplish success, to grow into a person who lives truth & affects those around you in a positive way. When you grow toward goodness with truth in your heart, you accomplish abundance in your life. When you set a goal to become someone you presently are not, the universe will provide you with lessons in order to become who you want to be. So, the enormity of your intention is important. How deep you want to go into your unconscious will be a result of you intention setting. When the universe is set in motion and starts to send you your inspirations, it is important to pay attention to the internal motivation before you act. And to know in your heart what your truth is in getting to where you want to go. Because not every idea or situation that presents itself is going to be the pure one connected to your truth. Remember where you start is not usually where you finish. Meaning maybe you have fear blocking your ability to take action on your dreams. As you move forward with fear motivating you, it generally manifests the very things you fear so you have to face what it is you don’t want to overcome and gain confidence. It is up to you if you want to jump in and create a wave or take it at more comfortable steps. Either way you get to where you go, but one way can be less traumatic than the other depending on how blindly you jump in. See the opportunity for what it is, how it makes you feel before acting. Decide if you feel supported to venture. Walking through a fire without a fire suit usually doesn’t end well. But walking through a fire with a fire extinguisher to help guide you usually has a better result. In other words, take the time to recognize the issues attached to what you want and work to resolve them in order to attain that goal more successfully. If you feel lost and confused, it is time to set more intentions asking for help to understand. Pull on the resources that can help guide you to clarity. Know that spirit is always there to guide you if you just ask.

Let’s draw a card to ask what it is everyone needs to know to improve their communication in this Gemini New Moon: (Using “Oracle of the 7 Energies” by Collette Baron-Reid) I drew “Ears Wide Open.” The meaning of this card is to attain deep listening and letting go of the need to be heard. Let go of distractions – checking your phone, thinking of what you are going to say next when someone is talking, etc. Commit to deep listening, focus on the subtle cues, hear the full story. Let go of the ego’s need to control a situation and become the passive participant who absorbs the moment at hand. There is so much to be learned by listening intently when it is your turn to hear others. In order to grow and learn, you need to ingest what is going on in the moment, not bypassing the information searching for how you can up your game to be heard. Take advantage of the opportunities at hand to grow and learn what is going on beyond the surface, but to hear inspirations and subtleties you can only find when you are focused and silent – with your “Ears Wide Open!” Good luck!

Finding Truth

Navigating life from a place of self-truth is my goal in order to live as authentic of a life as possible. I know that happiness & success are attached to being who you truly are & I believe it fulfills your life’s purpose on this earth. I also personally believe that includes making sure your actions not only serve your truth, but are for the good of all. Meaning your goals & efforts should also benefit those in your life, not promote destruction toward them. Most spiritual teachers say that we are all one, an extension of one another, meaning that our beliefs & actions affect the whole on this planet. So if we can chip away at the misguided motivations that lack the care of the whole or toward ourselves, we can indeed do our part to improve the worlds challenges. It supports the belief that our outer world is a reflection of our inner world. I have always gauged where I was at on an issue by the people & circumstances in my life. When I was single, I knew I was close to meeting my one and only of whom I would marry when I was surrounded in majority with happy & healthy couples in my life. And indeed, that is when I met my husband! When acting on your truth, there are so many emotions and thoughts that are attached to self-truth from life experiences. A good starting point is to become conscious of your motivations & trusting spirit to guide you toward your truth. Whenever I feel confused, I turn to spirit and ask for guidance in my meditations or points of crisis. Often times using my Oracle Cards for reflection & inspiration, journaling or before I go to bed at night I ask to have a dream that will give me answers. Life always seems to answer back with guidance – aka “Inspired Blossoms”. Sometimes answers and resources don’t happen not right away, so it is important to keep the faith toward what you want. When they do arrive, don’t just assume they are meant to be, go inside yourself and ask if it seems this is a resource of truth before acting. We are each capable of establishing our own systems to help self-guide ourselves whether it be professional guidance or faith & spiritual guidance. When you start to think about accomplishing that first goal of self-truth, ask yourself “the whys” – why do you want it? What emotions, actions & thoughts are attached to it? That is your motivation. Are they self-serving, based on payback from incidental wounds of the past or simply a way to dodge getting hurt again? It could be a myriad of things. From there you start to sort through the issues and dig deeper. Maybe you need professional counseling, a book, a class or maybe an Oracle Card reading can help boost the process, you decide what feels right. When I was in high school/college, I was an All-State, All-League and even an All-American Honorable Mention Jr. College Basketball player. With that came a lot of positive & negative recognition. I admit I enjoyed all the positive attention it attracted, but I was also challenged with jealousy and verbal attacks from people who didn’t like me getting the attention, some thinking they deserved it instead of me. There was also the issue of some people getting a little too excited to know me. Granted it was a small audience, but it just never felt right to me for people to think I was someone more than they were. Later in my adult life, I did some stand up comedy at local coffee shops & a few comedy venues. I was single and living alone & one night right when I walked in the door of my apartment, my phone rang. It was a man who acted like we were best friends, but would not identify himself. This went on for several weeks. It became obvious there was one man who was always at my performances trying to get close to me, would be at the restaurant we would go to after our performances & then one day when I pulled into the work parking lot, there he was. I decided that I was not equipped to handle dealing with a stalker & quit comedy. Just like that, the stalker went away. Both these issues are on the surface of my conscious sometimes still today. But in working with conscious motivation of my actions, not acting from this place of fear, self-truth gives me power over these issues. As I believe, action equals results. I believe what you think and believe are a result of your life. What is reflected back to you comes from within. The uncontrollable issues which come from our unconscious mind are the ever evolving lessons we must take on through our entire life and are unavoidable at some level, but I have found the best navigation is to be honest with yourself and to act from the heart for the good of all to tackle the continual self-growth of our life’s purpose. Yes, there will always be challenges in life as reality is the good & the bad. It is how we handle both that give them life to either evolve for or against us. That is my take on this anyway! What is yours?
